There is nothing like slipping your feet into a nice pair of cushy slippers at the end of a long day of walking at Disney. It's like heaven.

Can't wait to hear what happens next. Hope it doesn't involve more rain!

Wow that is some rain you were faced with!! However I'm so glad you were able to laugh it off and really enjoy every moment of Disney with Tink!!! That is what its all about going on vacation and creating happy moments with those that you love!!!!!

I know what you mean about that kind of rain. I've seen it just a few times in my life. And it's always been at WDW! (Try riding the boat from MK to WL in rain like that. We were all singing the theme to Gilligan's Island!!)

Great chapter, TK. What an amazing feeling, being free and having fun with a close girlfriend, I can't remember when I last felt so purely happy and in the moment like that. Now I need to email my friends and plan something fun!

I know exactly what you mean about he biblical rain down at Disney. My first trip to POFQ was the year I graduated from college, and I went with one of my roomates. The rain was so crazy that they couldn't even drive us out to our room in the little golf carts. My friend and I just kicked back and enjoyed. It really seemed to release all our tension and put us right in the mood to enjoy Disney.

Nothing like bonding with friends over a whole bunch of raindrops.

We really did have a great first day. And we really did enjoy ourselves, so much, even when we were soaking wet.

I have to admit though, I'd have been doing the monorail pub crawl as well

I almost can't put it into words without crying. I have hard time dealing with stress, I always have. And I've had a less than desirable...actually often hostile and extremely degrading...work environment for the past three years now. We won't get into all of it, but it was like in this moment, in the rain, in the dress, in Disney, completely soaked, completely invigorated, finally completely happy to be in a moment, to be alive, to be with Tink, to be who I was and to be so happy.
