We're both very blessed.

I can only disagree with you on one point. I, upon seeing rain like that, would have turned myself around and headed to the bar. A sign from the universe, if you will.
HA! I don't think I could have fit in another drink at that point. I was so full!

Love that you were asleep by 9pm. Too cute. And you totally have me thinking about bringing slippers, by the way!
There is nothing like slipping your feet into a nice pair of cushy slippers at the end of a long day of walking at Disney. It's like heaven.

Can't wait to hear what happens next. Hope it doesn't involve more rain!
Well, some of it does, but not quite like this.

Life just doesn't get much better than that, does it?

That is how memories are made! Forget the poncho...we are getting WET!

Some of my favorite memories are of getting soaked. Camp. Spectro in the rain.

Good times! Good times!

That was a GREAT chapter, TK. I honestly felt like we were all there with you. And what a fabulous description of your happiness

I know what you mean about that kind of rain. I've seen it just a few times in my life. And it's always been at WDW! (Try riding the boat from MK to WL in rain like that. We were all singing the theme to Gilligan's Island!!)

Great chapter, TK. What an amazing feeling, being free and having fun with a close girlfriend, I can't remember when I last felt so purely happy and in the moment like that. Now I need to email my friends and plan something fun!

Oh, TK! That was nice. And you know what?! I can imagine myself, LeeAnn, and maroo having many a moment like this next year. And you can't plan them, they just happen, don't they? Thanks for the reminder of the WHY of my going!

I know exactly what you mean about he biblical rain down at Disney. My first trip to POFQ was the year I graduated from college, and I went with one of my roomates. The rain was so crazy that they couldn't even drive us out to our room in the little golf carts. My friend and I just kicked back and enjoyed. It really seemed to release all our tension and put us right in the mood to enjoy Disney.

Nothing like bonding with friends over a whole bunch of raindrops.

We really did have a great first day. And we really did enjoy ourselves, so much, even when we were soaking wet.

I hear you! Some of my funniest Disney memories are from when it's been absolutely pouring out.

Thank you! I'm always so pleased when people feel like they were there with me. It's one of the highest compliments you could give me about my writing, and I thank you so much.

I'm sure you'll have moments like that. They are unplanned, and totally amazing.

What a great, touchingly lovely, chapter!

I have to admit though, I'd have been doing the monorail pub crawl as well

Thank you for the reminder how cleansing going puddle splashing can truly be! And for letting us be with you, in your moment. Those moments are what get you through future days and I'm so glad you had one just like that!

Well, I'll have to keep that in mind. If we're ever all in the World together, perhaps we can all do the monorail pub crawl and someone can volunteer to carry me back to my room.

It was so cleansing! Into each life a little rain must fall, eh?

You know what, in all honesty, it was crazy, but that rain was a blessing! Who'd thunk it?

I love that idea, one giant DIS monorail pubcrawl.
