Life is what happens in between trips to WDW
Those "flying cookies" flying through space can be seen
I'm hoping that the little guy likes them!

Oh my gosh! Your pictures of CSR are spectacular!

And I love how the redecorated rooms look. We stayed there in 2005 - it looks WAY better now!

Hey Tammy. It's been a while. I have been lurking, but haven't posed anywhere in a while. Just checking in with you. I haven't talked to you in a while. We got back from Disney August and while we were there Ryan said "I wish Tammy and Sydney were here" It looks like we aren't going to be going back until December 2010. So I guess I will have to Dis more to keep my post-disney depression down.

Magic Kingdom here we come!!! Part 1

We had planned to park at the MK but every single spot was taken within walking distance so we went over to the Poly. Just to be safe, in case the rain came back. It would be a lot easier to get back to the car that way. Plus Sidney wanted to buy a short he had seen there earlier in the week. We bought his t shirt...caught the monorail and headed to the MK! Once we arrived it was almost time for the fireworks. Main Street was really busy. We walked through the candy store and the kids wanted to use their snack credits.

We stopped here for a short break so they eat their goods...

They got...

While they enjoyed the cotton candy I took a few pictures. I LOVE this little nook in the MK. It's so peaceful and magical. I could just sit there for hours and never get bored!

With flash

Wihout

It was time to make our way to a spot for the fireworks. In one of my pre trip reports I had a photo contest and everyone who played along got to request a certain picture. Well, some of them I did not get in March so I tried to make up for this in May. One of the requests was from Rinky Tinky Tinky and it was to capture Tinkerbell flying from the castle. I tried my best and this is what I got...

I thought I was closer to the landing spot but I missed it by quite a bit. The firework pictures turned out terrible. It was just me and the kids. Sidney said he had something to do and that he'd meet up with us later. Here's my icky pictures from the firework show...

MK ~ Part 2

He comes back during the fireworks and hands me a bag. It was pitch black dark so I couldn't see. When the lights came back on we waited for the crowd to clear out and I looked inside. He had went and bought me a pair of shorts and two Tink shirts that I was admiring earlier in the week. He knows I wont buy myself anything...I'll spend every dime on him and the kids before I think of myself. I thought it was the sweetest thing ever.

After the crowds dispersed a little we went over to Tomorrowland to ride Buzz Lightyear. Lucky me ends up behind a bunch of potty mouths that can't stop saying the F word over and over and over because Space Mountain is closed! I wanted to scream....HEY! You stupid MF read the Fing WDW website before you Fing go and you'll see that the Fing ride is Fing closed! F! F u! And F your Fing mouth! Grrr! I hope and pray my kids don't end up like that! Buzz has like no wait so we hop right on...

redneck pic...woo hoo!

Sad face to see this....

Next up was the tea cups. The kids spun me around so hard I thought I was dead!

They have the most fun when mommy looks green!

I hate this ride!

Somebody comes back with a good use of his snack credit!

These tables looked lonely so I made them feel like a star!

Next we rode Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and the Haunted Mansion. We're at the very end of the Haunted Mansion...right under where the little bride ghost is saying, "Come back...." and the ride breaks down! The kids were in the car ahead of us so they had nothing to look at but lucky us...we got to stare at the lil bride and the other stuff around her. I bet we were there for at least 15 minutes. This was definitely the rainy/get stuck on a ride trip! We just sat there an enjoyed it. Finally we are able to get off and continue with extra magic hours!

I'm sure we have eaten at Pecos Bill's at some point or another but I don't remember it. They were about to close up and I knew we'd be hungry later if we didn't eat now. Plus we had some credits to use up. I had been a good girl for the better part of this trip but I was about to embark on a bacon double cheeseburger and loaded with mushrooms and pickles! It was the best burger ever! YUM YUM YUM! This made the December choice of Quick Service dining much easier for me! We had great meal...me and Sidney ate the burgers and the kids enjoyed the cheese fries. They LOVE cheese fries at WDW!

What a mess!

MK ~ Part 3

This place is so pretty by the way. It would make a great place for a Pirate character meal...

After dinner we went over to our most favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom ~ Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! I could ride it for hours! Love it. Looking back I think SM was closed down for some reason so we skipped it and went on over to Pirates. I could skip this on the next few trips personally but the family wouldn't hear of it. I am so over this ride unless the real Johnny Depp starts popping out of barrels.

Then we were off to the Flying carpets...

That's all I have written up so far....I'll be back soon with the rest of the night and our last day! Until then....

It sounds like you made the most of EMH that night for sure! That was so sweet of Sidney to go and get those things for you!

Sounds like you had great luck getting on rides without much of a wait. I thought your fireworks photos were great, btw! (Along with all of the rest of them!) What kind of camera do you use?

OK, I am almost afraid to post for the scolding I may get! I know I have been missing for a while, but I have still been reading along. I just have too much going on right now and I am trying to read too many TRs. I've got to narrow it down some b/c I just can't keep up with all of them. But I have enjoyed the TR very much and loved the sunset pictures in the last update. They are just beautiful. And I think your Tink pictures turned out great. Mine are just a green blur! So thank you!!!! And please forgive me for not posting often this time.

Part of me being so busy is that we are going back in November and I have been planning like a mad woman. I'm finally feeling better after the hysterctomy and our hospital bills were less than we had expected. So we decided to book it while I had the free dining code and hope we could scrape up the money. Then we decided to refinance our house b/c the rates are so low. Not only are we saving $200 a month on our mortgage, but we will also skip 2 months of payments this summer while the paperwork is being done! So that is my Disney money!!!!! I cannot believe that we are going to be able to go back. So last week was our ADR window and I have been up for some really late nights planning and trying to get things booked.

Too bad we won't be there while the whole big group is there. We have to go at the beginning of November. But I can't wait for the TR. I know you are getting sick of doing TRs, but you HAVE to do one next time with all of you being there at the same time! You can't hold that out on us!

I love your fire works pictures even if you don't! I think it was so sweet of DH to go buy you that stuff. You're probably due for lots of new clothes with all the wieght you've lost. I enjoyed looking at the pictures in POC. The girls always comment on the dog with the key! It looks like you got on lots of rides during the EMH. I never get to go to them since we go to the morning ones. Maybe next trip. I'm still ebaying away trying to earn enough money to go back. I'm up to $500. Joe said I needed a thousand, so I'm half way there. I won't make it for October, but I'll keep up to try to go soon.

Hello everyone! Thanks for following along. I'm sorry I'm not putting my all into this trip report. I just have so much going on right now. I'm glad you all liked the pics from CSR. It's truly a beautiful resort. (And after that storm...WOW!) I'm not sure what size the beds were. I think they were queen sized. They were so plush...I slept well that night!

I see a lot of new posters in the recent days. Thanks for reading and welcome! I promise in the Winter time I'm much more entertaining.

Katie and Ryan....Aww That is the sweetest thing to say. I wish you could have went a couple of weeks later so we could all hang out together. You guys are like my lil brother and sister...seriously! I had a blast w/ you guys! When you plan for 2010 let's plan to go at the same time! K? AND KEEP IN TOUCH! You have my # and I have free texting now so burn it up.

Yep Sidney tricked me. He said he was going for a drink and came back with gifts. He's a sweetie pie, really. Gavin has nothing on him! Ha!

Camera ~ these pictures were taken with a Nikon D60 but I normally use a Nikon D300.

RTT ~ Great news about the house! And the trip! Yay! Of course you miss be by how many days!? Our first day will be Nov 29th! Glad you liked the Tink pics and btw no scolding here. Look how bad I've been! We'll all get caught up before long. Have fun while you can right!?

Maureen ~ If you go it has to be the week we all go! PROMISE ME! Good luck reaching the goal!

I feel like a total loser not getting back to everyone. Again, I am so sorry. I will find time tomorrow to finish up the MK day and hopefully the ride home too.

August meets....I'm placing that order tomorrow for our "rental car". I'll let you know what the share is shortly after. Can't wait to meet you all and I'm good for just about any meeting time. The only thing I have to be at are my dinner ressies. Other than that I'm going with the flow.

Question CSR photos

Tammy, any way you'd share your photos on the CSR thread?

Tammy, your family is gorgeous and they all take great pictures.

Your pictures of our "home" are stunning. Would you mind posting them on the CSR Photo Thread or the CSR Unofficial FAQ Thread that I started? I know those who are up in the air about CSR might like to see your gorgeous pictures.

Anxious to read the rest of your report.

Kathy
