I know I have sooo much to get done too it's crazy! I don't think I'll ever be done and I'm going to my sister's the night before because she only lives like 20 min from the airport we are flying out of and if we left that morning to go there we would have to leave at like 230am to get there by 5am! So i'm definitely going the nite before and I dont have to get all up til like 4:00am!

No , Ft. Bragg is not here but I know it's somewhere in NC so close enough ! LOL Yes, we are in Jacksonville,NC and there are several Marine Corps bases in this area . Oh, wow didn't know that about the Osborne lights , that would have been super cool to see them like that !

Just getting caught up been back home in Maryland again for about a week .

Love the SWW Dance Party ! Chewy's team and Dark Vader's teams performances were too funny . DD did a great job filming the BLT , it's so cute to hear her making commentary on it in the background . LOL Wow what a storm on your first day at CSR , it is so cute to hear one of the kids say in the background this is the worst day ever !

Great pictures of the Muppet's Balloon , never even noticed it before . Adorable picture of Baby DS with the food on his face , such the cutie . Wow what a crazy rain !! Must have brought the crazy out in the tourists too ! I can't even imagine to Mom's duking it out at WDW , so crazy ! The Italian from the food court looks super yummy right now !

Aww the last day , soo sad ! Beautiful CSR room , may have to check those out for next time Can't wait to see what this crazy rain brings for your last day .

Downtown Disney ~ Part One

I left as we were heading to Downtown Disney. I put that place long as I can but Dash insists we visit the Lego Store every trip. That's his favorite place in the World! So if he behaves during our vacation he earns a visit to the Lego Store!

So we're driving up and see this flying high into the sky!

As we get closer I take a few more pictures...

This is my favorite pic! I really wanted go on this but the rest of the crowd said NO WAY! Maybe I can get someone to go up with me this next trip.

We parked and headed in. Surprisingly we found a spot rather quickly. Up close and in the front! I noticed a beautiful Birds of Paradise along the walkway.

First stop...the LEGO STORE! I hate this place. It's as bad as the WOD store. I hate crowds and it don't get much worse than this! Even when the parks are super slow those stores are always slammed with people! It makes Dash happy though so I deal with it...see.

I think we kept that visit under 30 minutes. Of course he managed to spend almost $200 in that time. (He saves up his money and blows it all there.) Outside I took some pictures of the Lego figures.

I noticed they moved the family but it was swarmed with people so I didn't take a picture. Next we walked past the World of Disney. Thank goodness. I took a few pics of the outside though.

And one with Gabby and Cinderella....

The deal was if we skip the WOD store I had to take them to the Once Upon a Toy store. This place was nowhere near as crowded as the other spots were. This was the first time I actually went inside and really looked all the way through the store. Here are some pictures of the kids with Buzz out front.

Bolt LOVED the Tonka trucks. I thought it was so cute how they actually dump! Aww.

Next we head inside...

More cool stuff in the ceiling!

Gabby wanted everything she saw...

I wanted this wall sized game for the play room....

DTD ~ Part 2

And how cool would this be to have at home....put the laundry on it and have it sent to where it needs to go...just dreaming here!

We ended up with this guy later on...

She wanted these bad!

Bolts favorite thing....

Look how cute the shelves are!

Bolt wanted this too...

Luckily this went by and I was able to distract him.

Dash loves this spot of course...

This doll is so ugly it's cute.

CHOO CHOO!

Whoa! I love this game!

Then she sees it! The Princess Castle!!! Of course this is right by the exit door. I thought I was safe and ready to go but of course we were detoured for quite some time.

And right across the way was another favorite of hers..My Little Pony!

You know me...I started looking up at the ceiling to find some cute stuff and sure enough I did. Flying high above me were Wendy, Peter, and Tinkerbell.

We got off pretty good there. Spent less than $50. Not too bad for such a huge store!

DTD ~ Part 3!

Next we wanted to go spend some of our Planet Hollywood vouchers. We had oodles of them. Okay, like 3 or 4 to be exact. None of us are Planet Hollywood fans. We have a PH here and it's GROSS. We knew some people over there so we were able to go eat free whenever. On our first visit I was so grossed out I faked being sick and excused myself from the table. We have never been back. I will say the one in Orlando looks a little more kept up and we've eaten there a time or two with the free vouchers but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

We get there and were seated immediately.

We actually had three vouchers (just looked back on the notes...) We ordered a chicken crunch (which the kids would not eat...they said it was sweet and nasty...and after tasting it I totally agreed!)

We also ordered a cheesecake, which was a hit with them.

Plus a BBQ sandwich and a club sandwich. Our sandwiches were okay, I'd give them a 4 out of 10.

Our server was a nice guy but he was so in the weeds. He had to get a fella in the next section to help him out. This fella was sent to get me another glass of water and I swear to you he brought me POISON!!!! O M G I thought I was going to die. I took a big swallow because I was about to choke and we were all out of drink. It tasted like cleaning chemicals smell. I wanted to go throw up but I can't make myself do that. We called the manager over and told him what was going on. They smelled it and tried to figure out what it was. He proceeded to try and take it from the table but I took it back and poured it into one of the kids cups just in case I got sick later. That way they could figure out wth it was. Sidney took a swig before we called the manager over. He thinks it's the chemical they use to clean out the ice bins. Luckily I didn't get sick. I was freaked out for a while though. The manager brought us all bottled water because after that I refused to have anything with ice or from a fountain. I have oodles of vouchers again for this time. I will be ordering bottled water and dessert only! We have like 3-4 vouchers to use up. Too bad you can't use it for liquor. LOL After the poisoning we went back to CSR. It was pool time!!! We spent a couple of hours in the big pool and over on the digs playground. I didn't take pictures though. Sorry. This time I am bringing along one of those water proof cameras though! If you guys have any recommendations do share!

We noticed a really black cloud in the distance and the wind started to roar up here and there. We decided to head over to one of the quiet pools closer to our room just in case things got really bad, and they did! I'm so glad we changed pools. About 15 minutes into the new swim the storm came right up on us. It was a bad one! That is where the CSR video came from...this particular storm. It lasted a couple of hours too. Tonight was extra magic hours at the MK too so I was hoping and praying it would pass. We set in the room and waited. Fingers crossed....

I didn't know you could save the PH vouchers and use multiples! We have never saved the vouchers and have not gone there. Oh well. Hmmm, I wonder what was in your water and how it got there. Did you finally throw it out?

You used to be able to save them and use them within a year. Now they date the books so you have to use everything in the current trip right then and there. This August trip is the first book I got like that. I'll use up what I have...a cheescake is like $12 or something. It's so expensive. Three vouchers don't buy much.

Yes...after I didn't get sick I threw it out the next day. Who knows what it was. Some people that work in places like that are nasty and do that mess on purpose. I've seen some nasty things in my time...I worked at Hard Rock Cafe for a while. The things that kitchen and those servers would do...

So....do you want to join the December group PTR?

Once Apon a Toy looks like such a cute store! We've never been in there - I know my DD would LOVE it. I'm kind of scared we'd never be able to get out of there though!
Is that a Davy Jones Goofy BTW? How adorable!
Ewwww about PH. Even free food is not worth it if your dining experience is going to be like that!

Hi Tammy,
Love the Once upon a toy pics! My kids love that store too. Seeing all the great pics makes me miss Disney .. I can't believe it was still raining so much even after our week was over . Planet Hollywood just yuck. The only one that used to be good is in NYC.

CSR ~ Part 1

We waited for what seemed like forever for this storm to pass over.

It looked awful outside. No sunshine anywhere to be seen!

If anything it looked like a tropical storm was passing through...

We were all bored to pieces but at least we were in a safe dry uncrowded place!

The kids watched Jonas and has some Mickey crispy treats.

They had a make shift fort out of pillows....

Finally it let up enough to make our way over to the main building. The water was so high...it was up past my ankles in the lowest spot. Boy did my crocs come in handy on this trip! It was so gross walking through that water but we were all hungry again by now. We had eaten an early lunch at PH and it was long gone by now.

We went into the first door we saw, which was the front desk area I love the lobby here. It's gorgeous! Here is the kids area...

Look at the gorgeous ceiling!

Disney maps!

Gabby out by the fountain in the lobby

Another beautiful domed ceiling!

She loved this fountain for some reason and wanted a billion pictures taken by it.
