Part Six...

These signs were everywhere!

Most of the Star Wars fun was wrapping up by now. The had one more big show to do...the hyper space hoopla or something like that. We'll get to that in the next post! It was the best show ever! (And I have video!) Stay tuned! That one is worth the wait!

I still have to add Gabby's pix too. I'll do it soon I promise!

I wish I went on BLT when they had all that cool stuff. Next time we go I just want to spend time in the warehouse and look at all the props.

Wow Tammy! GREAT pics! Your kiddos look sooo happy interacting with the SW characters! Ally was able to get her pic with the Stormtroopers and in the bubble (but not w/a character--with her Daddy!!). Can't wait to see this video you're talking about!

Wow! The Star Wars pictures are great! The girls enjoyed looking at them too. We have never done the Back Lot tour. We did the Disaster at Universal , so I don't think we missed too much except for the props. The organ from POC was neat. So was the ball thing! We just watched all 3 movies this past week. The girls have a Pirate Lego set up right now, so we had Pirate Days! ( See if you were coming this way the kids could play LEGOs and dress up!) Are you going to the mountains soon? I think Statesville is a couple hours away from where you stay. We're close to Hickory. Is that anywhere near your cabin?
I always enjoy reading your updates! I sooo wish that I could go back to Disney this Fall with the Visa Free Dining offer, but even in a value resort for 3 niughts, it would be around $1,000 for us. I just don't have the extra money and have no clue how I could make that much in time for a trip. It's too bad since we could do MNSSHP and Food and Wine Festival. We even have a work day during that time, so we'd only have to take off a few days of worK. Oh well, maybe next year!

Through Dec. 13th! At least you've made the most out of your annual passes. When free dining came out we added a day to the beginning of our trip so we will be arriving late on Dec. 11th. I'm so excited. I really feel like this vacation is coming together better than I ever expected. We are opting for the 3 day cruise at the end of the week but it will give us much more time in WDW, more parks, less crowds, and better resort price!

We have never been on the Backlot Tour in HS. It's something we save for last and never get to. Perhaps we should try it this time but it sounds like we're not missing much.

Thanks. The stuff you see before and after (not that stupid submarine show or whatever it is...I HATE that) is okay to see. The tram ride itself sucks now compared to the old one.

Pirate Days sound cool! I told Sidney to please lets wait until September to go to the cabin. Disney is so close...and the cabin is along ways from here. I'd rather wait 'til the apples come in. We could only go for three days and I need $$$ for Disney. I prefer he work those days. You know if you book on the last available day before Thanksgiving you can carry the promo over through the Holiday! Just sayin' You wouldn't have to miss work!

I'm going to order passports for us and definitely plan a cruise. I don't want to book 'til I have my passport in hand though. Um, yeah we will get our monies worth out the AP's. Well we'll have one day there at the same time! We'll have to meet up and say hello at some point! I can't wait! I LOVE Christmas at Disney! It's beautiful!

I'm loving the huge update, makes September seems so much closer! I'd love to go for SWW but I'm normally stuck on dates because of school/university - hopefully once I'm out of university I can go

We used to have those here but they took them all away.
Yeah, we use to have the dollar movies back home in Maryland too but they also took them away It's nice the base movie theater still offers that type of thing for the military !

With free dining...you guys may need to try and come!
I wish No funds for that kinda trip though , even with the free dining ! We can only go if we are stowaways in peoples suitcases !

LOL I agree. Ft Bragg leaves much to be desired.
Wrong base but close were Marine Corps . , it's Camp Lejeune . LOL I'm sure the Army base Ft. Bragg could be just as boring though !

Cool! It's not so bad. The one the kids have is beat all to hell and it still works fine.
Glad to hear that the camera will stand up to a lot of abuse , cause I can't afford to dish out more money for another camera anytime soon !

Yes the UP stuff on the ceiling is very cute ! Can't wait to see some more of your ceiling shots ! Glad you cleared up your dislike for PHD , now I totally understand what you were trying to say .

Great update ! All the pictures of the Sand guys are hilarious , looks like they were a ball to hang out with ! I totally agree with you the BLT leaves little to be desired anymore It was so much better in the 90's , we didn't even ride this trip and probably won't anytime soon unless they change it ! The Gift Shop with the NBC and UP things looks really neat , we love the NBC . I can't blame Gabby for being shy around Anakin , he is one hott guy ! The Alien pictures with the kiddies are really good . Can't wait for the next update !
