Love the pictures of the UP film strip in that store , your right I really do need to start looking UP more when I'm at WDW ! LOL I can't believe you don't like Playhouse Disney my kiddies are in love with this place and I think it's pretty cute myself ! That guy with Dash is really scary and that hatchet oh my ! The Photopass photographers face , what a priceless pic , wonder if that was part of the magic or he just happened to open his mouth like that ?

You got some great pics with the Up characters! You will love that movie. My favorite pic is the one of your DS and the dog (Dug). Dug is just hilarious in the movie - totally reminded me of my own dog!
I really really hope those guys are still there when we are there in about a month! I want a big hug from Dug too!

I haven't been in the HISTK in forever but seems like I saw that last time & I remember hearing True Colors by Cyndi Lauper. I love her!

Okay, so we're gonna meet up in August then? We need to exchange #'s. No longer at AKL now...I always said if free dining was offered I'd swap over and that I did. Back at Pop in December...

Hey girl! Changed Dec again when the free dining came out. We might just see you after all! I started thinking about it the other night...by the end of '09 we will have spent 6 weeks in WDW in 2009. That's crazy! Awesome, but crazy. Of course 4 of those weeks have free dining included so I justify it that way.

This summer has been so busy but super fun. In addition to typical summer fun, all the birthdays, anniversaries, etc happen over summer too so I have no idea which way is up most of the time.

Hope you're having a fantastic summer. We're trying to work out a quick December trip but it would probably be later in December. Wish we could meet up again though cause Lindsey loves Gabby-Josie and Bolt did well together too.

Summer's going good, I've been working a little and just enjoying stuff around the city. Today we're going to a fair and seeing David Cook; Saturday we're going to the Brewers game!

We used to play all the time and never got balls. So cool that they do it now. We got a bunch of those sharpies too. I have not made definite plans for anything but some dining. I can do whatever. The 24th is fine by me. Where will you be that day?

That David Cook guy was with Gavin at WDW last December. (At HOB) It was a bunch of bands. He had a lot of groupies waiting out for him. I was ike OMG! American Idol guy right?

You guys have been doing a lot of traveling too. That's awesome! Wish my people would go somewhere besides WDW. I love it but enough already.

Summer has been very boring The trip back home was fun and then it was back to the boring little military town we call home for now ! LOL I agree. Ft Bragg leaves much to be desired.

Got a new camera by the way Went with the Nikon CoolPix L20 , works well so far but have only had it for less than a day so we shall see what the future holds .

Cool! It's not so bad. The one the kids have is beat all to hell and it still works fine.

What are we up to? Well, we just finished getting all of Ally's school supplies. She starts Kindergarten August 10th. Today was Claire's last day of summer session MDO. I enrolled her for Tues/Thurs. throughout the summer so Ally and I could have some together time before she starts school. Next Saturday (Aug. 1st) I'll be turning the big 30! 30's are the new 20's! Get ready to have some fun times!!! Uggh! Then August 4th we register for school--Ally will find out who her teacher will be--there are 7 Kindergarten teachers--2 of which go to our church. I used to teach K so I'm praying she gets a good teacher. Then that evening we're going to see The Wiggles! The girls can't wait!! Anywho, we're staying busy!! I hope you get a good teacher. We were lucky up until last year. My son got this absolutely horrible teacher which is why we homeschool now. He was in gifted and talented and she had him teaching the other kids....Oh man she was something.

Looking forward to reading more!!

Isn't that cute? They have some neat stuff in the ceilings! We like PHD but not during EMH. I should have made that part clear. lol

I went because my son loves it but I really enjoyed it myself. I would love to do it w/o all the rain! The Disney characters dressed up in their gear was the cutest thing ever. And the finale show which I will be posting video of tonight was the bomb!

Sorry for the long period between updates...I get distracted easily when fun things are going on around me. So where were we!? Star Wars Weekends Day Two right? We had just seen the funny picture of the sand people making an attack on WDW guests in scooters...Oh yeah! That's where we were.

In that same spot appeared Storm Troopers and those sand people scattered. I'm not into Star Wars so I don't get it? But anyway...they went off when these "white" dudes appeared.



I just noticed this pic...what the heck is that kid doing?



Where did they go you ask!? Over behind the wall to sneak in some autographs. You don't see this kind of thing every day!



Oh I see someone....I wonder if I can get this fella to join the troops....hey you!!!

Next up was a visit to the Backlot Tour. We had not done this for a while and now I remember why.



This kind of thing reminds me of Universal Studios. I don't like it much at all. The tour used to be way cooler when it was a working set. I remember going through the Golden Girls houses and the George of the Jungle tree...and even the Mickey Mouse club set. All of it is gone now. I could care less if I ever do the backlot tour again! Here are the pictures from our visit...

It was a light drizzle again now. Things seemed to be slowing down. Star Wars events I suppose close down @ 7pm. I didn't know this before. We took a few pics with the props they had...



Then there was a show with the real actor who plays Darth Maul. We only stayed for about half of it. He talked about his character...how he learned martial arts...how he teaches kids, etc. Seemed like a real nice guy. I get bored easily though and he could not keep me entertained. LOL I took a few pics before we snuck out. BTW this show fills up fast!

















We came back out and Gabby wanted her own picture with the Storm Troopers!



We saw a bunch of meet and greets back by where you meet the Cars characters. They had the Star Wars characters positioned to look like they were in a plastic toy box. You know the see through plastic packaging they are sold in. It was so darn cute. I wish I had a better picture but it was slammed! (And the lines were closed)

Got a pic of my CARS friends' hang out!



I met a really nice CM (character handler) and he told us where to stand to meet the characters as they walked from their lines. (Since the lines were closed and DS wanted to meet them.) We got really cute pics this way!

Then Gabby spots Anakin Skywalker (young Darth Vader) and falls in love. She would not stop smiling. Ear to ear grin I'm telling ya! Sidney was in his line but the CM told us he would be leaving soon and someone else was coming out. Gabby was so upset so I took her to the side to meet him on his way back and she froze up when he got close. It was hilarious! I got her a few pictures of him though.
