I bet it was in the area that was all boarded up under consturction when we were there in March then. (When walking in that would be the backside of the ball.) I looked at the dates for next year the the F&G festival starts much earlier. So if dH and I go during our normal time, it should be up.

Hi there! Just found your TR through your signature in Lynn's report!
So let's see Your family is adorable! Love all the pictures of them...daughter/sunset, son/raccoon hat, etc...
Your pictures of F&G are so amazing! You have convinced me that I have to go! If for anything to bring those giraffes back to my house for my lawn!! Now I have some serious thinking to do because I was planning a trip for next October--already have this October planned--and I am taking my neighbor and after looking at your pictures I just know she would love that time of year too! I will have to check out my DVC points chart and see what I can do!!
Looking forward to your next update!

Hey! Welcome aboard! This is the first time I've had two going at once. It's a little hard but fun at the same time. All of them are different. And all are fun reads!

Yep. You could also get to it through the MouseGears store...it would have been right outside of that. With it starting earlier I don't think it will cross with Star Wars like it did this time. It was nice hitting both things at once. Why don't ya'll ever go during the free dining promo? I love that time of year. The heat doesn't bother me, it's the same here in MB.

What day do you leave in August? We arrive on the 23rd. 9 hours flies by now. I don't mind it....I wish Walt would have built WDW here though.

I did to. Wasn't it pretty? I should have gotten the bird bath. I thought about it.

Lynn is just a doll isn't she? Thanks for coming over. Nice to have some new readers joining up. The giraffes are grogeous! I wouldn't mind them on my lawn either. As you can see I like to go at all different times of the year. I have to say my favorite time is Christmas. I love the Osborne lights more than anything.

China and the Pink Umbrella! (Part 1)

After we met Mulan we explored China a little further. Notice the big bright sun!? It's still out. The boys went ahead again to do some of the Kim Possible adventure. Gabby and I hung out and took some pictures. We both love the way China looks and I can't wait to eat at Nine Dragons in August.

I love going in here but this time I didn't get inside. Hopefully in August I can catch the movie. I went in May with intentions of catching all of the films but it didn't work out.

We saw this guy back in March but he is covered in my favorite flower of all so we took a bunch more pictures!

Next time I hope...I love that theatre.

We decided to go shopping for a bit. Gabby's money was burning a hole in her pocket. These beautiful umbrellas caught her eye.

She wanted a pink one....of course the guy was sold out of the small pink one outside. No other color would do. She had to have pink. So daddy was sent a text to look for pink umbrellas. A couple of the stores carried them and I knew they were off doing the KP thing inside and the last thing I wanted to do was take money bags into a big store! LOL She wants everything she sees.

I take a few pics of the buildings. (I have to, no matter how many times we go I am always taking more pics of World Showcase.)

I turn around and she's at it again....Grrrrr!

And now her brother is playing with them too.

So I get an idea...I'll just let her play with them for a while. Interest in the puppets would only last 15 minutes or so anyway and I wasn't in a hurry. So they played and I took pictures. Everyone was happy.

And just like that the puppet obsession was over! Yay! Sidney was off waiting for them to locate pink umbrellas...eventually they found us one. Meanwhile I went ahead into the shop. Gabby wanted to look at the dolls. It's not American Girl so I felt I was safe from spending.

Then she sees this. "Mama...wouldn't my American Girl dolls like to play with this one?" Oh dear, there's your dad texting. We must go now. He found your PINK umbrella.

I get out as fast as I can. I sure didn't want her to see those gorgeous girls dresses and outfits they sell in there. She would have wanted one in every color!

We head over the bridge to play Kim Possible some more and I take some more pictures...

Continued in next post...

You did the same thing we did. Talked DD out of the puppets and then let her buy and umbrella. Anything to not take one of those puppets home. Kaylee's is blue and she bought hers in France though. I love the pics of China. I notice more in your pics then I noticed when we were there.

Lindsey has one of those umbrellas too-in pink.

Great pictures. The colors are so vibrant. We didn't get time to wander into the countries so I'm loving your report.

Great update The pictures of China are beautiful , you pay so much attention to detail . When I see your pictures I always notice so much I miss . LOL I have to say my kiddos have not been sucked in by the puppets yet and it sounds like I should be very grateful they haven't ! DD umbrella is very pretty , can't blame her for making that her first purchase
