Yes, those skys do look angry my friend. Believe it or not, we escaped this day without any rain whatsoever!!! It actually turned out to be a beautiful afternoon, dusk, and sunset. Pictures are on the way!

Did I read correctly that this was the first year both your kids went underwater? Is that possible with the water slides and such? How did they not go underwater before? Maybe I misread what you were saying.

Oh they had been underwater before....it was just the first time THIS YEAR! We have not been in a pool in 2009, so this was the first time this year that they had been under water. I thought it was cool that they spontaneously decided to go underwater at the same time!

I would just LOVE to go to CSR every year for the rest of my life!!! I just love it! I mean I have stayed at much nicer places, but CSR is SOOOO Disney! For us, it is just PERFECT for a Disney vacation!

Gail it was great meting you and Pat too!! We were both at op and ran into each other almost eveyday!! I even introduced them to my special CM!!!

We haven't gotten our PhotoPass share info yet, but I am anxious to get the c.d. I know we took a lot of photos...so I am hoping to add those to this collection...and ultimately share them in this trip report.

I'm glad you all loved CSR like we did!! I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. For us, CSR has a great Disney "feel" to it, and the landscaping is second to none!

Thanks! The kids just LOVED getting on those hammocks. In fact, for the rest of the week, anytime we would go to the Dig Site pool, the kids would get on the hammocks. They were VERY comfortable...and I could have easily just spent a full day chillin' in the hammocks!

Nope...no Summit Plummet hand motions this year! I thought that was classic! They did have some scenes from the previous year's production....in my opinion, they should have kept the Summit Plummet comment with the hand motions!! DD and I do that ALLLL the time!!

Yes, Stacey is all dressed up...and grown up.....too grown up. C'mon Stacey! Where's that overly hyper girl we all know and love? Looks like someone dialed the ridalin down a bit! But don't worry....you'll still get your Stacey on!

Now that the kids and I had a chance to go swimming in the Dig Site pool AND the quiet pool, it was time to head back to the room to get ready for dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. We wanted to get there a little early so that we could take the boat ride over to the Magic Kingdom and back!

WOW!! WL is gorgeous!! So impressive! I LOVE your pictures but am also b/c only a DISer would take that many pictures just in the parking lot before getting to the lobby! I love it!! And I'm the same way.

My prediction....a stay at Wilderness Lodge for you next year! I must say, of all my stays, and as much as I love Animal Kingdom Lodge, my heart skips a beat when I think of our stay at WL! The boat ride, the quietness of the pines, that whole mountain Lodge feel.....ahhhhh. I think you feel it too! AND they have bunk beds for the kids. (Did I convince you yet??)

Well, I do think you are on your way to posting all 1500 pictures!!! Love all the pics of CSR - I do love that resort!!! That is the only one of the mods that I feel is actually worth the price to upgrade from a value. We just love it there!
And WL is so beautiful! We're looking at that one next hopefully at Christmas time!
