Problem at Disney Terminal
Does anyone know what is going on in the terminal. I just got a phone call from someone at the port and they are being redirected to carnival parking lot and told to stay in the car. Lots of police in the parking lot.

It may be a suspicious package or something that they want to investigate before letting anyone near the ship.

That happened to us once - something suspicious so they called out the bomb squad I think. We waited in the parking lot for about 2 or 3 hours before we could board. There were some people already on board enjoying a very empty ship for a long time! All was fine. I'm glad they are extra cautious!

Suspicious Canisters
Suspicious canisters were found this morning at the Disney Terminal. They were construction materials of some kind but had to send the bomb squad out to investivate. I think two ships had to be diverted.

More than likely (hopefully) it is a false alarm. It has happened before. The downside is it will take that much longer to get on board!!! Especially since the resort cruise busses will all start arriving shortly too!

In April 2007 the same thing happened. We were one of the few who were aboard the Magic when they cleared the Disney terminal. We practically had the dining room to ourselves for lunch.

I've got a friend texting me from the parking lot. They're due to depart today. He says that DCL "suits" are handing out fliers . . .
