Exactly what I thought too. Its a tradition though-no matter what they do to it I will still buy the cookbooks each year.

I love the festival shirt for women that isn't in the red tones. The other shirt in regular colors of the chef on a bike. Too cute!
I need to buy the wall hanging for mom. She's got similar stuff hanging in her kitchen already.

I love those graphics. I think the glasses look really nice. I might have to get some shipped home.

I really like the wine glasses. I'm not much of a sovenier buyer, but I may have to get a few of them.
4 weeks and I will be there. Yay!

Love the wine charms
I'll definitely be getting the cookbook but I'd like to have something else as a reminder of what might be my mother's last trip.

Hi all! Lurking for a while, but thought I'd jump in. This isn't my first F&W, but I feel like it's the first one, since I'll be there without kids and with the intent on spending most of my time in Epcot for F&W. Going with my mom, and we both definitely need this vacation.
We aren't doing much as far as actual planned events, since we won't be there on a weekend, but we are signed up for the Tequila Tasting on Oct 30, and I have my map layout and plan in place for our two days of "noshing and drinking" around world showcase. Looking forward to reading all your reviews of the events we can't be there for, and of course, reviews of the food and drink at the kiosks so we'll know what needs to be on the "must try" list!!

I'm curious about the culinary demonstrations that I preregistered for. Do you think that they allowed preregistration for all the seats? Or do you think they held back a certain number for "walk-ups" that day? I feel so fortunate that I knew about the preregistration and was able to get what I wanted-there's a whole big bunch of people who probably don't know and will be really upset if they show up that day, only to find that all the tickets went to preregistrants. And someone told me today that you don't have to have TIW, an AP, or be DVC to preregister. Anyone can preregister, they said-they just have to pay full price.

47 Days ;-) Can't wait
3rd F&W for us....It's the reason we joined DVC. The special events are great (have a few booked) but just eating around the world is wonderful Last year went to the Bocuse D'or - Hope they have it next year- it was a budget buster but even a yr later can remember the tastes....For all you first timers, you'll love it
