Hi everybody--drive by posting.
Bella starts puppy training tonight--yay! My "old" paralegal came back today on a part-time basis while Francine is out. I talked to Francine--she hasn't started chemo yet because her doc wants her to see a specialist at Cedars-Sinai because her form of cancer is so rare--yikes! Other than that, just another day in paradise. Just think--yesterday at this time I was drawing Jack Skellington . . . . .

Hi all -
A quick stop by to say HI and hope you all are well! I've been busy and haven't had a chance to read back through the posts. We went to DL on Sat. and had a great day! We were lucky to see the new fireworks! Very fun show and we all loved Dumbo! We did visit First Aid twice though, once for a band aide and the second for an ice pack for a twisted ankle both for DBF's DD. Her ankle is ok and thankfully she twisted it at the end of the night so she didn't have to walk around on it much that night and she's fine today. Yesterday we went to UP! I loved it - I laughed and cried it was great and we saw it in 3D. And after the movie we celebrated DBF's DD15 birthday at CPK. Her actual birthday is today so we are off to Cold Stone for the ice cream cup cakes soon. Have a good evening everyone! |

Yep it was a bit crowded but we did find a decent spot about 10 min. before but we were on the right side (facing the castle) and next time I want to be either in the exact center or more on the left side! I'll be there for three nights June 20 - 23 so I should be able to get all of the viewing areas figure out! Thanks I'll look for the Hanes link! I'll be sure and enter! I don't think any of us have any problem finding 19 Disney Diva friends who would like to go

Wow~ quiet night on the Dis . . . .
Bella and I attended her first puppy class tonight--and we both survived. She was the most "lively" member of the class (i.e., the class clown, talked in class, didn't pay attention--the only thing she didn't do was pee in her panties) but the teacher LOVES corgis so it was like she could do nothing wrong. She was also the youngest puppy (there were only two others--one was five months and the other seven months). So I think some allowance was made for her age. So now we have homework By next Monday she is supposed to be able to focus on my face continuously for 30 SECONDS!!!!!So we're home and both tired (especially one little puppy). But I wanted to check in and say "hey"!

If that isn't the cutest thing I've heard in ages I don't know what is! *sigh* I'm going to miss my pups SO much when I move. They live with mamaw and papaw (my parents) since theres a yard for them to play in. Angel was my baby girl when I was 15 and then we adopted Spanky from a breeder I found from the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America. We had him flown in from Maine and he was so cute when my mom went to get him from the hangar. Angel is tall, skinny and ornery... totally moody and sassy. She melts like butter when I come back home... she turns into a puppy again. She actually hugs my arm with her paws. Then spanky is short and stout and has freckles under his fur so he looks like a miniature cow. His left ear is always sticking straight up so we call it his wonky ear. He's the happiest, most cuddly and caring dog ever. I call him my little shadow because he follows me around everywhere. He's a total wuss. When he was a pup, he was so homesick and the only way he'd sleep was when my mom would hold him and he'd put his head on her left shoulder. Now when it thunderstorms or if we cheer too loud during a football game he tries to sit on our heads.... just the women, not papaw. So if he ever gets worked up we say, "it's okay Spanks, it's just football". I'll never forget the time when I had my ankle reconstruction and my mom blew up the air mattress for me in their living room. The Pacers were in the NBA playoffs and he sat on my head the entire game. He's not light either. Here's a photo of my furry children. ![]() It isn't the prettiest pic of Angel, but Spanks looks darn handsome!
