Shuttle launch today - The DIS Discussion Forums

Anyone out there watch for the Shuttle going of at 2pm this afternoon, get to Titusville if possble. Great experience.

Really wish we were there. They cancelled the one we were hoping to see in Feb.
Don't think there will be many more opportunites left to see this.

We saw one a few years back from Epcot and unfortunately could not see alot, it was a clear day and we could see a trail of smoke going up and up and up. Everybody stopped what they were doing and just starred at the sky. We thought about travelling nearer but it had been cancelled twice before and as it was soooo hot we decided against it.

We were at magic kingdom today stood on the bridge at tomorrow land. It was to cloudy and you could not see anything really. Lots of people about but no one saw anything. That's life having a great time though.

We were at Animal Kingdom yesterday,we all said remember the Shuttle Launch when we pulled up in the car lot,guess what we all forgot.Not that we would have seen anything anyway as the place is surrounded by trees.
