I'm glad you mentioned termites Sheryl, I would have forgotten to renew my policy. They sent the bill months in advance I completly forgot. I know when the chickadees are swooping the termites are swarming. I live near a National Park too, but ours provides greenheads instead of termites.

Why get all excited about something as silly as a fake celebrity? Or getting a tag?

I would assume you can do it for as many people as you want as long as you're willing to pay for it ![]() I would have never ordered the lamb dish before a waiter brought it out for us one time. Now it's my favorite dish on the menu! Quote:
I finally got home from my conference out of town - had to be out the door by 7am, which if you know me at all you know that is NOT an hour I see often. I am really tired. DH made noises about hitting up Taco Tuesday instead of cooking tonight. I'm game for that...

Afternoon, everyone! Well, the good news is I have my computer back. The bad news is that they weren't able to fix it, yet. Alan has to take it back in tomorrow. So, I most likely won't be on tomorrow. It's taken me a while to catch up. Sounds like I missed a lot in the 24 hours I didn't post!
Maria - I'm so sorry about Greg's mom. She will certainly be in my prayers. You, too, after your "incident". What a scary thing! Ellen - Your family is in my prayers as you go through this deployment time. Just like Laura's family! You all sacrifice so much and do it for so little compensation. It can't be said enough: "Thank you all!" Bethany - Just keep counting down the days and pretty soon you'll be on a plane to NOLA. Becky - I can't stand fish, but your tuna pictures almost make me want to try it again! I'm guessing that fresh tuna would have to be better than the yellow fin that I got from my brother that was freezer burned. Right? Laura - Congrats to Liam! What a fantastic game he had! Tell him I'm rooting for him all season long! Monique - Welcome to our little corner of the world. We do occasionally talk about food, and consistently talk about other things. We've really grown into a family and we are so excited to have you join us. Check out the links on the first page, and see what wonderful recipes have come from these people! Each one I've tried has been a winner!!! I look forward to sharing with you! Nancy - I'm glad you kept Kady home. Sometimes a girl just needs some time with her Nana! Good for you! Marissa - I can't remember if I ever congratulated you on your new home! CONGRATULATIONS! Now, the unpacking is another things. Why can't we just twitch our noses, or blink our eyes, and have the whole thing done? By the way, CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss! I know what a difference it can mean!!! We are all so proud of you!!! I know I've missed tons of important things, and I apologize. You have all been in my thoughts! I send you all hugs and pixie dust to cover anything I've forgotten. Our Cinco de Mayo dinner is in the crock pot right now! We are having the lime chicken nachos for dinner, with Mexican brownies for dessert. |

Glad the dentist was not awful. You have a wonderful attitude, which is great. Those chickens from Sam's Club and BJ's are pretty darn good in a pinch! Quote:

Here is the recipe for the chimi's
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup finely chopped onions 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves 1 tsp. crushed red pepper 8 Flour Tortillas 6 oz. VELVEETA , cut into 8 slices ( I used sliced cheddar) 2 cups oil 1/4 cup Sour Cream 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Add onions, garlic, oregano and pepper; mix well. Cook until onions are tender, stirring occasionally; drain. (added taco seasoning) PLACE 1/4 cup meat mixture onto center of each tortilla; top with VELVEETA. Fold in all sides of tortillas to completely enclose filling; secure with wooden toothpicks. Place in single layer on baking sheet; cover. Refrigerate 20 min. HEAT oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add tortilla pouches, 2 at a time; cook 5 min. or until golden brown. Drain. Remove toothpicks. Serve topped with sour cream and cilantro. I put the pouches in a baking dish sprayed with pam and then sprayed again over the top and baked them in a 400 oven till crispy about 10 minutes Pretty tasty.

Good Evening All! Just a quick flyby to check in. Buddy brought home two big bags of rolls so he had sandwiches for dinner. I had eggs and toast.
I checked earlier and am praying for my dear friends who need them. I am so sorry, Ellen. I must have missed something, is Jay okay?

Evening friends, A quick check in so I don't spend all day catching up!
We had shredded chicken soft tacos, with beans, spicy slaw, guacamole & the most important Margaritas on the rocks! Thank goodness, I turned off the light early tonight & no termites crawling or flying around in the house. Quote:
Hope you & your little man get some sleep tonight. Kona uh, another reason to head to WDW! ![]() She was smimming, but she was cold! She was invited next door to play today, thank goodness because she was sneezing today & begging to swim on the way home from school.
