So! First off I want to apologize for not starting this all sooner!!!! I have been soooooo extremely busy that I just haven't had the time to start it I'm done with high school in three weeks so i've been trying to nail away all of my work since I missed a week for Disney!

So! here's the cast!

Me: Deva (17) Lover of all things Disney, anything that's pink, and yes....TWILIGHT! I am an aspiring cm and photographer and nurse....and I honestly don't know how in the world I am going to fit those all in one!


Cari (aka: Mom) (38) She loves Donald Duck--but in her words "as an on-screen character more than a park character" and Goofy as "a park character". She is a paraleegal and is my hero! She plays the drums and also loves photography! She was less than ecstatic when I asked to go to the world for spring break, but now we spend our weekends on the Disboards and reading the aaa guides and books! She's hooked--bad!

Day 1: Arrival Day

I apologize for the sucky quality of pics.....I took pictures on two different cameras so i'm missing some of my good pics--I will find them, it just might take a day or two

So! We started out our adventure at 5:27 am. My alarm clock went off and the sound of wishes in the background woke me up! I hurried and up and threw my clothes on and threw my tennis shoes in my suitcase. I hurried up and carried my stuff out to the car. We left for the airport at 5:52 am and got to Detroit Metro Airport at 6:15 am...........We said our goodbye's and we got our stuff out of the car and went inside. We checked in both of our suitcases and walked over to security. We waited for about 20 min. and we finally got through perfectly fine. We then took our time walking to our gate and sat down and waited to board. We boarded at 7:22 am and got all settled in for our two hour flight to Orlando! Me and mom both put on our Ipods and she read a magazine while I started writing out trip report! Here were some in-flight photos:

About half-way through the flight me and mom looked at our ipods and we were both listening to a song with "*****" in the name--ironic

Alrighty then!!! I just wanted to update with a few pictures that I got off of my other camera!

Day 1:Arrival Day Continued

We boarded within 30 minutes. It was a very full flight with lots of little kids. We landed at 10:24 am--14 min. late We got off and went and caught the shuttle. I also took pics while riding on the shuttle:


Here's the pics of the airport I took:


We stopped at the potty and then went to get our luggage. I took this one of my mom right before we realized that we didn't have to get our luggage

We realized that we didn't need to get our luggage so we headed back over and caught the elevator and went down to level one. We made the long trek to DME and went to the podium and got checked in. Here's some pics I took right before we got in line:



We ended up in line 5 and we were the only ones! All of the other lines had tons of of people in them......that was our first little dose of Disney Magic At this point we waited about 30 min. and our bus finally came! When we went in 2008 we got the really ugly mears bus I was praying that we would get the actual DME bus! Well......WE DID!!!!! I was so excited!!
Me and my mom were the first ones on the bus and we sat in the very first seat on the left. Here's the pics I took from our seat:


About 10 minutes later we pulled out of the parking lot and were headed home! Here's a random pic I took on the way to our hotel: I thought the fountain was pretty

About 25 minutes later I prepped my camera for the magic shot: the gate welcoming us home! Here are the three progressive pics lol

A little bit closer!!! Yes! WE MADE IT!!!!!!! We went straight to our hotel, Port Orleans Riverside! The entrance sign: We pulled in and it was SO FLIPPIN PRETTY!!!!! I was so excited when I saw this: I'm gonna leave off here, I have to go make dinner I'll come back after dinner and finish day 1!!!
