Rosie you know I'm going late September too and I've never been at that time of year. Just wondered if you could tell me what the weather is normally like plus are the lovebugs that I read about really that bad? Thanks

Never been then either !!! Jordan says HOT & STICKY But have no idea about LoveBugs !! This wil be another ssssshhhh as Judy andthe girls HATE Bugs !!

I may be able to help here... We were there for 9 days last year... We thought it was hot and humid, but more comfortable than July... We only saw like 3 lovebugs total... We found it helped to take a break or plan meals in air conditioning during the hottest part of the day...

Hi Rosie,
We go in Sept and its usaully only real hot for a couple of days. Our last trip was 1 week earlier and we had a heat wave for 5 days it was over 90. So it can get hot. The loveBugs are a different story. There is no way to get around them, they are all over the place. I think some resorts have more than others, but they DON'T bite but they will crawl on you. After a day or so you just forget about then and go along with your day.

P.S. Don't forget the dryer sheets

Thanks, I've only been in August and December so I'm used to the heat and cooler evenings I'm meant to be running in the EE5K at the end of September so hoping it won't be too hot, it's at about 7pm so fingers crossed! Not sure I like the sound of the bugs though

Than you for answering Jo( The Bestest) and mine questions about Bugs and heat!!!I was hoping by mid September it would be bearable . I have pretty much planned to eat in air conditioning for cs meals an hopefuly have scheduled some slow days to relax at the pool!! On the Bugs crawling on you!!! When you hear blood curdling scream that will be Judy and the girls , me I just knock it off !!

Hi Rosie,
You know that you could of just ordered your snacks from the garden grocier down there and they will send it to your resort on the day you arrive. I'm not sure of the cost but its comparable to buying and shipping from what I've heard.

I'm not a heat person by any-means and I can take the heat in Sept so everybody should be able too. I love the winter and no I don't do any winter sports, just waking up to see snow covering everything looks great.

The bugs just depend on a lot of things,as I've said some resorts have hardly non. When we stayed at All-star there was a lot of then. Pop didn't seem too have a huge amount. I can't remember there being a lot at the parks for some reason. The lines in Sept wern't very long and not as many kids at the resorts. You know that Pop gets its share of kids, and when we stayed there we had some people above us that were just terrable. We should have asked for a different room, they were running around until 2:00 AM, bouncing a ball and carrying on.

I've looked over the clothes situation and I think one suitcase will work for me. Well I've rattled on for more than long enough, talk to you later

Chuck we are ordering from Garden Grocer , I picked up the granola type bars using c/os and sales so got them very cheap also I will ship down the kids park snax and Tink gifts !! I plan on ordering milk, water, yoghurt and bananas for sure !! But I may look into ordering bagels etc as i think I may have a toaster in mt fridge swap and if not I am pretty sure you canuse the one at the foodcourt!!!

Rosie I stayed at POR last year at the same time you'll be in WDW. I saw no love bugs. We only got rain a couple of times in the mid afternoon. We will definitely have to do a no-hurricane dance for you and anyone else who is going at that time.
