First trip - three toddlers plus the inlaws did we make it home together? TR

Hello everyone! We have been home for a while now, but I am just getting to the TR now. It was an interesting trip. Here's the crew:

Me23: This would be my first trip! I won it through a parenting site I moderate on and was very excited to go. Now I am terrified of flying and this trip included 4 flights. I am a huge Disney fan. I spent 6 months planning and organizing this trip!

Me and DS2 - not a great picture but its a picture where I'm not the one behind the camera

DH30: This is his second trip, but his first trip was 20 years ago, so everything seemed very new to him. He showed his excitement as we actually got ready to go - before that it was all me lol

I'm sure if I looked harder I would have found a better picture, but really it's him in a typical moment.

DS3a-this was his first trip and he even got to celebrate his 3rd birthday in the World! He loves the Disney movies


DS3b-yes they are twins. So again this was his first trip and he as well got to celebrate his 3rd birthday in the World! He as well loves Disney movies.
This is DS3b with my dad. He couldn't be with us on this trip but we will be bringing him if we ever go again.

DS2 - Again this was his first trip. He loves all things Disney!


MIL: Has been to Disney in the past but it has been about 20 years as well. Was very excited to see it through the kids eyes.


FIL: Has also been to Disney about 20 years ago, was very excited to be joining us as well.


One note: me and the IL's don't get along when put together for extended periods of time.

When: October 18th - 23rd
Where: Wilderness Lodge (MIL/FIL had a timeshare they stayed at)
Why: Free trip (won through Rogers Publishing) and twins 3rd birthday!

I will be starting with the day before departure as it was the main start to our trip. There is not any food porn (sorry but that just didn't go over when I tried to explain it to DH). But I do have a lot of pictures!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this going again. DS3a (Caleb) broke his femur last week and we've been hectically attempting to work with this set back. I'm glad I have a couple readers already! I promise to get updating this weekend. And feel free to use my real name I don't mind. For those who don't know. I am Brittany. My hubby is Brad. My kids (in order) are Caleb-3, Seth-3, Hunter-2.

Sorry again everyone. I had no intentions of taking this long of a break before starting. But I did not know how much extra time/effort/energy a 3 year old is with a broken femur. On a good note though, his cast was removed yesterday after only having to be in it for three weeks And, he is doing remarkably well.

Now onto my TR which should have been started forever ago.

I have already covered the who/where/when/why's of this trip. So now onto actually talking about the trip. We will start with Pre-Day one (day before we left). Which was also the twins birthday celebration day. I have chosen to include this as for the adults it was the start of the trip due to lack of sleep before we left. I'm not sure what I'll actually have for pictures as I am on a different computer that doesn't have all my pictures on it yet.

We started off the morning making sure most things were packed up then after a quick bite to eat we headed into Brandon to get some shopping done. Although the kids weren’t really into the shopping, we managed to get our last minute things bought and off to my dads we went. We decided since he conveniently has a playground 1.5 blocks from his house we’d take the kids there to blow off some steam. They all had a blast!!

After a good play with Grandpa at the playground off to my mom’s we went. We had slow-cooker chilli for supper and of course we had cake! The kids really enjoyed themselves as did everyone else!!

After a quick clean up we headed home to get the kids into bed. They were in bed by 8pm which gave us a bit of time to clean up, finish packing, load the van and get to bed ourselves! We were in bed shortly after 9pm, that’s the earliest I’ve been in bed in a while lol. Our alarm was set for 1:30am for departure day


Some of the pictures I already posted were from that day. But I will work on getting more pictures put up soon.

So I thought since the kids are gone for a few nights I would upload some pictures onto the new comp and do an update. Well what happens? I go to upload the pics and they are all missing from my sd card. I just about flipped. Until I remember that I lent the card to MIL. She double checked her comp and she still has all the pics on her comp. So plan is to make a rush trip up there tomorrow (we need the pictures for xmas presents anyways) and at that point I will get some updates coming.
