You know what the best thing about being a high school teacher is?
PROM... Yep, I'm going to Prom tonight... I LOVE seeing the kids all dressed up and acting like grown up adults. It's my favorite teacher perk. Lets see... in 2 years, I get to watch my DD at Prom.... (somehow, I don't think she is going to really like me being there LOL)... Hey Starwood... I vote for renting the car and dropping it off. That way the first time DS ever does have a Limo service it will be a tad bit special to him. I'm thinking his Prom will probably be his first time for him.... Congrats to your daughter on her graduation, JoAnn!!!!
 And to you on the  JoAnn, were you able to book the Grand Gathering??? We're doing ME from the airport to SSR and then SSR to port. It's just easier and maximizes our time at SSR.

DD & DH should be home in a couple hours. DD has a new "metal" tooth.
I just finished hosting my last spa day in Burkina. I had 19 ladies doing nails and massages + a pot luck. Why am I so tired???  Been working on my FE gifts - they are taking me longer than I 'd planned. But I'll get them done sooner or later! Congrats on the pirate - I never seem to be online at the right time anymore.  I think we have everything scheduled for the trip. Now we are focused on trying to get our house ready to rent again in VA. Our renters will be leaving in June, but we need to get it repainted, cleaned, etc. before someone else can move in. Oh - and I guess I should start packing since the movers will be here in three weeks...

Well, I went to Walmart this morning, and ended up getting some cruise stuff... got the over the door shoe holder ($7.50), two misty fan/water bottles ($3.00 each), some more suntan lotion (can you ever have enough?), and an underwater camera. So... I guess that means I've got to get the suitcase out of the attic to start packing...

Good Morning All!
Congrats on the Pirate! We had a busy Friday and Saturday, Friday, Mike had UIL band competition, the band earned all 1's and a sweepstakes award. Saturday, Mike had a band festival at the University of Houston. Maggie competed in the school district's first "Reading Rumble" competition where a team of 6 was asked 25 quotes from 30 possible books. Her school team won! Their team was comprised of all 6th graders and the youngest team of middle school students competing. They were so excited! Today is, in theory, a bit quieter, schedule wise - not volume. The kids have private trombone lessons at the house today.

Hey, all. I've been away for a while. But I'll be back home for good now.
I got a call today from Disney Grand Gatherings saying that we needed to pay for the group's gathering today or it would be cancelled. While on the phone she discovered her error, that in fact we had paid, but there was another reservation in our group that had not paid. She said there were only 6 people confirmed and paid (my family of five minus the infant, plus two others) and that they need a party of eight to keep the reservation. She said there was another part of the group who had reservations but who had not paid, yet. So if you are one of the people who wanted to do the Grand Gatherings International Dinner and Fireworks at Epcot of Friday night before the cruise, please call and confirm that your payment or Disney Dining Plan is all set. And you should do it today before 5:30 pm Eastern. If we don't have eight by that time, they will cancel the whole group. So even if you hadn't signed up earlier, but want to, you probably still can. Call Marlene at 407-939-7866. The numbers I have are my family's confirmation number: M9730148; and what I think is the group's number: 824529. If they can't figure it out from those numbers, feel free to give her my name, Aaron Lockard, since I just talked to her, and I'm sure she can get you in the right party.
