Wow, glad you are on the mend, Lissa. Don't worry about Palo. You can almost always get a slot when you board. If not, check back each day for cancellations.

mickeymo---Our rooms are connected but we did NOT have one of our family in each room. That is a great idea. We talked with someone at DCL and they said that we are the only ones that could book our excursions. On Monday the reservation system finally let us into reservations for Palo, but there was nothing available that would fit into our schedule.

I know DCL wants to give CC members some perks, but it seems like new cruisers are getting left out for excursion & Palo options. We will continue to try to get them but I don't expect to get them together as a family...

It does seem that they "hold" space for embarkation day because on 2 separate occasions we have been able to get our Palo reservations with other family members
that previously were unavailable. Hope that helps. We just went there 1st when we boarded.

Rats! It's unfortunate that linked reservations can't be made at the earliest time if family groups are traveling together. As others have said, they do seem to magically have openings onboard. If there is a second choice time for Palo, I would at least grab that, sometimes it's easier to add people to a reservation on board than to try for a new one. The minute you get on board, go straight to the reservations table. If that doesn't work - get on the waitlist and keep checking back. Spots do open up.

We just called for PALO today.....filled. oh, well, not going to stress over it.
no excursions planned here yet....we are going to let our tour director, JoAnn #1 plan for us...that is why we pay her big money

only place we are worried about excursions is Tortola...never been there.

There is only ONE THING I want to do on this ship - meet alot of people and be with our friends

Sunday, June 19 - 10am in the Promenade Lounge???

I don't know if this is correct or if I've forgotten one, but I think it would be nice to have it all in one place so that we don't miss one.
