Also, may I say the BVI is the MOST beautiful place I've been, it is less developed but so, so beautiful. Both the Baths and the Jost Van **** places are so wonderful, you can't miss. I'm actually in Miami this w/e visiting my DD22 who just moved there. When I get back next week, we'll take one more look at the private charters in BVI and see if people really want to go and how much......

Welcome to all the new posters!

We survived my daughter's prom weekend. Her prom was Friday night and it just rained and rained. So instead of having 45 people in my back yard for the preprom party we were all inside. It was a little crowded but we had a great time. After the prom they went to a comedy club in Manhattan- Dangerfield's- then the limo driver drove them around Times Square and then to a diner in Chelsea. The got back to ouR house around 5 Am and 10 of them crashed in my living room. They all had a great time.

OK so it finally stopped raining and it is now hotter than heck here. It was 90 today at 3. It is not supposed to get that hot here. After 10 min outside I took everyone back in for fear of someone getting over heated. Talking with my kids today was probable the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Trying to explain to them something that is hard for even an adult to understand was not easy. Is it July yet?

It is another "sunny" afternoon in Orlando. Kinda a job because it seems to do nothing but rain! We are in full swing with our afternoon thunderstorms. I would be interested to know of anyone going to White Bay Beach and the Soggy Dollar Bar

I had booked the tour DCL offered but always want to know what others are doing! I've wanted to visit White Bay and Soggy Dollar since I saw it on Travel Channel!

Thanks for everyone's prayers and well wishes for my mom. She's a pretty tough lady. The first time she went through the chemo, I was away in college. I knew about it, but when we talked, she never really talked about it, and I didn't know how hard it was on her. She really didn't want it to distract me from studies. The realization that she has now relapsed was a big shock to me and hit me pretty hard. But then I realized that this is not the time to feel sorry for her and the family and myslef. This is the time to celebrate the time we've had and still have together. So here's to a great summer for the girls to spend some time qaulity time with Grandma.
