Until now I have not read of others requesting a toaster or didn't even know that could be done. However worst case scenario you end up using the one at the Contempo Cafe if you request one and they don't have any available.

We leave TX tomorrow morning for a four night stay at the Contemporary. This will be our third time at the hotel. This definitely feels like "home" to us. We stayed at the Poly on a different trip and it just never felt right. We love the convenience of everything all in one building. Also, we love our theme park view and wouldn't ever consider staying anywhere else. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Thanks for the trip report and I think there is a solution if the cards don't work in the elevator. This past August sometimes the 12th floor would not light up in one of the elevators, however we were told by a Club Level Cast Members when that happens after instering the card then press the button for either the 12th or 14th floor. Towards the end of the trip, the CMs said the elevators were messed up. The worst elevator was the 2nd one in from the left when facing the wall of 4 elevators. Then the other one that's in the corner on the opposite side started giving me trouble. The one CM said we needed to avoid that 2nd elevator and I said that the elevators need fixed - we should be able to ride all the elevators and not worry about the key access.

Just an inconvienence.,.. and I've never had any trouble in all of my previous trips like I did on this one with my card. My card was dead - I couldn't even get into our room, and I had trouble getting into the parks too... at first we blamed the cold front that went thru, but then it became apparent that the CR elevators need work.

Hopefully you will have better luck than I did!

Any advice you can offer would be great! Also, do you get housekeeping at BLT? TIA in advance, let's hope I can use this discount

Well starting this Saturday I will get to test out the elevators and I can not wait, so hopefully they have fixed this problem in the past few days.

Also you're pictures look great so thanks for posting them.

I am also happy to see they brought back the Contemporary model tree in the Fantasia store, because last December I forgot to take pictures of it and that's something I want to do this year.

Hopefully you'll have more luck than we did with the cards... like I said, that was the only "issue" I had, and it was very minor.. now I did have issues with other guests in the park, but that's not CR Related.

Well, after all my excitement over my 40% off code, it seems that the 4/3 deal is actually better! So I am still CR bound, loving it, and getting soooooo excited! DD and I have had a countdown board up of Mickey heads from Home Depot for about five weeks now and we're down to I think 74 days...December will fly by, but boy will January and February drag...especially if we are socked with more snowstorms like the doozy we had today!

I am glad that some of you are coming back with trip reports and especially pictures! It will fuel my excitement until I get there. Thanks everyone for sharing! (especially that pic of the monorail display tree...when I saw the Contemporary playset on the tree with the monorail going through it, I caught my breath because my CR playset just shipped out today and I'll have it in time for Christmas!)
