Going tomorrow for our 1st stay at the Poly.
I requested Tokelau 3rd floor but if they want to give me Hawaii I'll take it.
I have 2 breakfast ADR's at Kona for the yummy Macadamia Nut Pancakes and other ADR's scattered throughout the parks. We are not on the Dining Plan.
We are Annual Passholders and are taking a more leisurely approach to this vacation.
Thanks to everyone who's posted Trip Reports and advice. I'll be putting it all to good use.
Looks like I'll be coming back to a new thread. Have a great week everyone!!!
ALOHA!!!

Yes we were there last month & the BouTiki has Hawaiian stuff. It's not cheap but sometimes they have good sales-they had the small tote bags-nylon material for sale for $2.99 & in MK they were $6!!!

I am sure Sea Spray or Canadian Guy will set us up

How exciting for all of you going soon We are so busy here in our house that it seems like everytime I think to look at our countdown it is like a week later!

I posted some great Poly pics on my PTR for our last trip. In all honesty, DH and I are toying with possibly going for the holidays in 2010, but I want to get through this trip first.... We would probably stay at the GF or BC but I am still of the mindset that I can't stray from the Poly yet. We will see when I stay CL at the Poly if that cements the plans!

Today we have our last big family outing of the summer. Six Flags Great America. Everytime I go there, our thrid trip this summer, it makes me appreciate Disney all the more

Aloha to all those going
and coming back !

Happy Sunday

We also live in the western suburbs, however, I know for a fact that 6 Flags is closed for the Health System that I work for this Sunday. Do you work for AMH???

This will be our 2cd trip to the Poly, I am soooo spoiled and do not think it is an option to saty elsewhere. We went the end of last october and it was wonderful. We have only been to disney twice the oct trip and once the first week in June a few years before that. The timing of this trip was kinda decided for us, 3/10-3/18, due to a conference I am attending. What has been everyones experience with mid march, I know its peak. but how peak. Are the parks likely to close?
thanks

250th page!

I'm getting nervous...we're at the 250th page limit and I haven't seen anything directing me to the new tread.
I'm sure we can count on our friend Seaspray to make the transition for us and I'm thanking her (them) in advance .
But I still feel a little lost and anxious not seeing that link yet.
On another note...I want to wish all you lucky people who are now, or soon to be, enjoying their Poly vacation a magical time.
I still don't have definite dates. but I'm hoping and planning a week long trip in Oct. and am just as excited as if it was tomorrow.

They lock the thread but open a new one with the same informational posts in the beginning of the thread and we build from there.

I beleive they have a 250 page limit because they found the big threads were making the board run too slow so they put the limits.

Don't worry, they won't shut us down with no place to go...I hope

For this most recent FAQ thread, Canadian Guy just duplicated the first few informational posts so hopefully he will do that again.

I was wondering that too because I was wondering if I shot my chances of getting pixie dust because I checked in online?
Is there anyone out there who had checked in online and got a magical upgrade of any kind? Just wondering??

I'm getting nervous because I've been planning to go back to the Poly CL next year and I've read several reviews recently complaining about how the food is bad now and the service is too.

Has anyone been in the past month? And did you see a huge "downgrade" of the CL services???

Booking CL at the Poly is expensive, and not worth it if we all end up unhappy...

It's hard to tell if these reviews are from "picky" guests, or if things are really going downhill...

I check in the 26th and out of curiosity I checked to see if there were anymore CL rooms left. The only rooms they have left 09/26-10/02 are garden view. So I don't think I'll be getting an upgrade.
