Super-crowded. It's listed as 10s & 9s on touringplans.com. Worse at the beginning of the week. We'll be there that week as well, so I've been watching the crowd number with fear & dread .

Well, at least I know what to expect. I can plan for the crowds. It would be so much worse to show up thinking it will be calm and find it crowded to capacity.

And we're staying at 2 really nice resorts, so if the parks are too crowded we have a great place to spend the day.

mmmears, Captain Cooks will have most things available like pastries, etc.. It is just the grill that is closed. I'm not sure if the grill starts operating earlier when the parks open so early.

Good luck with the crowds next week everyone. At least all of you are prepared.

remember to bring ziplock bags! Great for just that purpose! Also, don't forget you can grab something yummy from a bakery at the park you are at the day before. One night we got stuff from Main Street Bakery at MK to enjoy the next morning. Delish!

Well, I guess we can see what people say about the parks today. I think all of us are going to be worried about the crowd and hopefully it will be nothing. We will go and it won't be as bad as we prepared ourselves for. So let's us think positive. Because I don't want to spend my first time at disney in tears. LOL

It is on my folio for our January and March, 2009 visits as $10/day. Plus, when I picked up my car on the second day I was there in March, the bell stand asked me to pay in cash that day, as they had a glitch in their system and couldn't attach the charge to my folio - they asked for $10. And when we went to Cali Grill, the Contemporary bell stand tried to charge me for valet parking, until I reminded them I was already valet parked at WL - they said "that will be $10, please!" So I know it wasn't a mistake on my folio.

Maybe I won the valet parking lottery!

I agree! Try not to stress out everyone. You can't see or do it all anyway, just focus on getting there as early as you reasonably can and hitting the things first that will be impossible later in the day. Don't forget to take time to soak up the Magic of Disney!!

Ok - I was just off on that, obviously - think I was confusing it with Kids' Clubs going up to $11/hour from $10/hour

I was thinking maybe they had lost business from increasing the price, and had reduced it this year? But if the kids' clubs went up too, your explanation makes more sense.

I truly wasn't trying to be snarky, I was just explaining how I was so sure that the price I was charged just a couple weeks ago was $10. It's very possible they have raised the price since I was there! Everything changes so quickly, it seems.

If the parks are '9's, how crowded is the resort? Predictions are mostly 9's for our week but I'm not really stressing. I figure if the crowds are unbearable I'll run back to the Poly for refuge!
