Can anybody tell me if you can go to the Kona Island Sushi Bar for a CS credit?

And if not...why not?!

I see that Captain Cook's has sushi also...is it anywhere near as good?

I'm curious about the Kona Sushi Island DDP status too.

Capt Cooks has grocery store style prepackaged rolls, similar to what is offered at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT. It isn't bad, but it isn't anything special either.

You cannot use a CS credit or any dining plan credit to purchase sushi at the Kona Island Sushi Bar. I believe this is done considering the average price of each sushi roll (lowest price is $10.99) but also because they do not serve desserts or non-alcoholic drinks. This would create too much backlash from customers wanting the "extras" that come with their credit and not just settling for the entree.

I was unable to use a credit here the last time I went. That may have changed, but I have not heard about it if so.
