AKL. It's truly unique and the only one I can possibly justify Disney pricing on.

My fave is the Poly! It is just so relaxing, is close to my favorite park and a monorail ride from my second favorite park (Epcot). Love the dining options and all the stress from my "real" life just melts away once I enter that lobby.

We haven't stayed at all of them. We have stayed at the Contemporary, Poly (2x), GF and Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Of those I prefer the Poly. For some reason staying near Epcot doesn't appeal to me. Even though for years we traveled with older kids and then teens I still prefer to see the MK if I'm going to stay Deluxe. Of course now that we have a little one again I am really looking forward to share staying at a monorail resort with her. That isn't happening this year but maybe next.

I voted for the Polynesian! It's just wonderful, and the transportation can't be beat!!
We are staying AKL in 2 weeks, and I am so interested to see how it compares! I know that the location won't be as great, but we'll have a car! I'm hoping that we like it just as much or more than the Polynesian since it isn't as expensive!! I know that the girls are going to love seeing the animals from the balcony as well as the bunk beds, so it will probably very quickly become their favorite!!

Hands down the Poly. It is my favorite resort on the property. Transportation can not be beat and love Ohana and Kona Cafe.

Have toured them all, but have only stayed at Boardwalk, Saratoga, Animal Kingdom and Wilderness Lodges.
I voted for Animal Kingdom Lodge, but it was a tough choice.

We stayed at the WL last Sept. and fell in love with it. I tried to get DW to let me book the AKL for our return trip this Sept. She said "No way, we're coming back to the WL!" Maybe if we get to come back in 2010 I can change her mind then.
It seems that those of you that prefer Poly or CR do so for the monorail. We loved only being a short BOAT ride away from the MK!

We've only stayed at two resorts; the Polynesian, and the Wilderness Lodge. The WL was my favorite of the two.

I love the Epcot resorts, Epcot is my favourite park, next is HS, so being able to walk (or get the boat) to both of them is great, I also love the feel of the area and don't feel 'stuck' in my resort at night.
My absolute favourite is the Boardwalk Inn, I love it's small and quirky feel, hearing that music when I walk into the lobby I always feel I'm home
