The Value Resorts Are Not CLEAN!
From time to time I read Posts from Guests who are considering staying at a Value Resort,but have "heard" that they are not clean.Well,as a 12 time Guest at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort,hopefully I can set the record straight.The reports of the Value Resorts not being clean are true.Even though they are DISNEY-OWNED and DISNEY-OPERATED just like the Moderates and Deluxes,I think everyone agrees that Disney cannot be expected to keep them clean because,after all,they are VALUE Resorts.Disney knows this and,therefore,the rooms are only cleaned every other night.Also,there are no Pools at the Value Resorts,but Guests are allowed to use the "creek out back"(just watch out for those PESKY alligators!).The Laundry is also the "creek out back",but as a rare Value Resort amenity,Disney does provide the washboards.The Arcade consists of a Foosball Table and 2 Pong Video Machines.The Foosball table has not been working during my last two trips however.There is a sign on it that says it is being "refurbished for your future enjoyment".There is a BIG rumor that,in addition to the Foosball table and Pong machines,the Value Resort Arcades will welcome the addition of Pac Man in 2010 followed by the rollout of Ms. Pac Man in 2011.Please understand,that is just a RUMOR!The "Food Court" consists of a row of vending machines and a Microwave.(Please note lines at the Microwave are shortest between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM)Well,hopefully,my Post has settled this issue once and for all.(One more thing,I almost forgot,DON'T forget to bring soap,shampoo and towels!)

I completely disagree! We stayed at Pop last year and returned to a very clean room every night. We received clean towels daily, never saw one ounce of trash around the resort or anything else remotely dirty. Sorry you had such a sad experience as ours was wonderful.
