2 Rooms at Pop Century vs. 1 Room at Polynesian
I am trying to decide between 2 rooms at the POP Century Resort and 1 room at the Polynesian for an upcoming vacation. We will have 3 adults and one 12 year old. I know the space would be fine at the POP but we have always wanted to stay at the Polynesian.. My main concern about the Poly is the bathrooms. It seems that the sink area is in the same room as the shower and toilet and therefore would make things very interesting in getting 4 people maneuvered around in the mornings.
Does anyone have any advice?? I have narrowed my choices to these two and am torn. I am driving my family crazy trying to pick :-)) Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Kathy |

I would say Poly.
2 queens and a daybed will definitely be enough for your party, and the other benefits of Poly are just so worth it. The bathroom is a disadvantage, but you'll save time on the way to MK or Epcot. Also, the gardens, the monorail, the pool, the white sand beaches, and the relaxing atmosphere will enhance your trip to a different level. |

Thanks!
I did book the Poly! We were a little concerned about the Pop Century being terribly packed with all the specials that were being run. I think Poly is going to be a great choice for our family. We are soooooo excited

We were faced with the same delimina (we are a family of 5), but also decided to go with the Poly. My son and daughter have always wanted to stay there, and now we are.
We are just going to work around the bathroom issue.

I was also going to suggest the Polynesian, however I see that the OP already made that choice and I would agree that it's the right one.

I would choose the poly. We love the poly. The room size is huge, it is set up nicely for a family. There is in room coffee available and a fridge. Beside the two queen beds was a chair and a lounge chair for us when we were there. The grounds are so pretty, nothing compares to the grounds at the poly. You can take the boat from the poly dock to magic kingdom or vice versa, or the monorail. See you made your decision have fun.
Make sure you allow time away from the parks to explore and enjoy the poly. Deb. |
