Me too, I'm just so totally glad we'll get to continue. I'm really surprised how snarky some are being about the news, I really don't think it will have much effect on the fridge swaps overall..

Everyone else, please note there are new rules of 04/19/09. In order to continue we are no longer allowed to collect payment from new swappers. The only way that affects this swap is that since we can't collect new fees, we will not be able to refund your (the original swappers) fee as anticipated. I'm sure most if not all of us feel this is still a very good deal, but if anyone wants to back out, just let me know and I will refund your buy-in minus any paypal fees. I'll give everyone a day or so to post or PM me to reconfirm they are still in the swap and will PM anyone I haven't heard from tomorrow night just to make sure they are still in. Please let me know if anyone has any questions or concerns I haven't answered!

I am totally not a coffee drinker so have absolutely no idea how much a coffee maker costs. Anyone? Depending on the cost/delivery arrangements made for the fridge (tax/tip, etc), we should have enough for a toaster at least. We also have a coffee maker likely being donated later in the swap. I know that won't help you though...

My Husband and I were considering buying a coffee maker and donating it to the swap during our June trip. It will really come down to space. We will have 7 in our van for the trip and although a coffee pot isn't very large with that many people the space can be limited. As soon as I know if we can do this with space and all I will let you know so others will know ahead of time whether or not a coffe pot will be there for them to use.

I have you updated! Just keep us posted! My husband is set on trying to pack just our carry-ons and one suitcase. One suitcase per person maybe, but only one suitcase for the four of us? I think he is insane I know shorts and t-shirts don't take up a lot of room, but no way is that going to happen.
