So sad that I have to bow out of this thread. My husband elected to take 2 weeks off from work to hunt (no he didn't get anything) and now does not have time for the vacation we had planned.

So very disappointed. I told him next year, the kids and I are going, and I hope he joins us!

Have fun you guys, the kids and I are SO looking forward to Disney December 2010!!!

I am so sorry to hear you guys won't be able to come to WDW. Hopefully next year you guys can!

So sorry to hear that. I would be kicking my husband's butt! I'd be going this year without him. No offence to you by saying that. It sounds like you and your children are very understanding and that is so great to see.

No disrespect intended to you husband but I would be going without him too! I think it is sad that he mistakenly took took much vacation and has taken the vacation intended for his wife and children away!!

I agree if he does it again you should go without him and drain his bank account at the same time. I hope you are able to work it out so you and the kids don't lose out due to his not thinking. Lois

65 days to go.. eek!! The shops here are starting to get Christmas items in, which reminds me it's getting closer to December & WDW Trip!!

You're so lucky to be going to the Brown Derby, and on NYE too!! Definitely one of my all time favourite WDW restaurants.. Cobb Salad, mmmm!

I was talking to DBF yesterday about Disney, and he said he'd love to visit the World when the holiday decorations were up (this Dec is a 'girls only' trip with my sister lol!

)
... so.. we're considering a trip together in December 2010!!

looking at flying via New York too so we could stay there for a few nights (we've never been to nyc before) then fly down to wdw for 5-6 days

- what a vacation that'll be!

You'll love December. Last year was our 9th trip but the first in December. Now I can't see myself going any other time of year ( unless it's a 2nd trip of the year!).
