Made my ADRs today and got them all! Le Cel for dinner, PTC, CAT 1 HDDR, Biergarten and Plaza on our party night. On line wouldn't work right, so at precisely 6(7 Eastern) I called, got a cm immediately, and was done at 14 after. Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezie.

I've hopped over here from the previous July thread, as I have recently booked a suprise trip for DD and me We'll be staying at CBR from 12/3 - 12/8. She has a half-day of school on the 3rd, so we'll be getting in around 8:00 pm or so. We're doing the free dining, although I'm not making the best use of it, because she prefers breakfasts to dinners.

We have ADR's at :
12/4 Crystal Palace 5:35 PM MVMCP
(planning on breakfast at Main St Bakery)
12/5 Akershus B'fast 8:20 AM
(planning dinner at Sunshine Seasons)
12/6 Hollywood & Vine 9:50 AM
(planning dinner at Pizza Planet)
12/7 Chef Mickey's 5:30 PM
(not sure what else)
12/8 Crystal Palace 9:20 AM
(will have to leave for ME at 3:00)

So...I'm still going to be short 2 cs meals each; any suggestions? We're arriving late on the 3rd, so may get something at CBR after we get in to have something for DD in the room. We have room for another meal or two on 12/7. If anyone sees anywhere else I can do some fill-in's I'm open to suggestions!

Welcome to the group. DisneyBarbie I am sure will add your ADR to her list. I see that you are going before me this time.

I plan out my table service only because of the need for the ADRs. For my counter service I don't sweat it and go to whatever is closest when we get hungery. It looks like you have a plan that will work well for you and your daughter.

We make out a flexible CS plan, but it ALWAYS changes. My husband and I try to seek out something beyond burgers/chicken/nuggets, so we try to pick out something different and plan ahead, but things always change- for example once last year we really wanted to make it to Morocco, but ended up at America (can't remember names of either restaurant). I know they're close, but his blood sugar was really low.



Anyhow, sorry for the long tangent lol....

We generally wing it when it comes to CS too. But this trip there are places I'd like to try - Main Street Bakery, Columbia Harbor House. We usually get some CS in Epcot - wherever we're hungry. I like the Chinese place and Morocco. I might try Sunshine Seasons this time, or France. Not much is all that great in DHS IMO, so I don't eat much CS over there.

Hi everyone. I've been parked at the "Mom's Panel Applicant Waiting Room" and stumbled on this thread.

We too are traveling in December. We are staying this time at AKL from the 5th - 12th.

I was up at 5am on our 90th day and I was able to get most of the ADR's that I wanted even though the system was a tad bit slow for my taste.

These are the ADR's that we have so far.

12/5 - Arrive
12/6 - 6:30pm Mama Melrose
- 6:30pm Hollywood & Vine (will be getting rid of this one)
12/7 - 11:30am Chef Mickey
12/8 - 8:25pm O'hana
12/9 - 7:00pm Boma
12/10 - 6:30pm Mickey's Backyard BBQ
12/11 - 4:05pm LeCellier
12/12 - Depart

I have been trying to get into the T-Rex Cafe for around 7:30pm on the 5th and I'm trying to get O'hana on the 8th for a little bit ealier than 8:25 but no luck yet.

Anyone else going to be at WDW at the same time we are?

Thanks for the nice welcome I normally don't care about the counter service either, but last time we did the dining plan we went home without using 4 of them, I don't want to do that again!

We plan to split a counter for our breakfast and a counter for lunch each day. This way we will be assured of using all our points and not be too full at any given time except after our table service which for us will be 5 PM or later.
