Serious question - does anyone know if there were to be a code for a room only discount, does it usually require a minimum night stay? I want to do the one night at AKL, and doubt any deal would work for just one night. Any experiences with something like this?

Also - how much does it cost to join AAA? Maybe it would be worth it for the savings. What would a AAA discount be on a deluxe? TIA.

We're going to Bay Lake Tower (studio lake view) from 12/6 - 12/10 and hoping to add a night at AKL on 12/5. We will be my family, MIL, SIL and another SIL and hubby and two kids. When he says he is gonna find out who is naughty or nice, he means business. Those of you who might be on the fence might want to tuck a roll or 2 in your suitcases, juuuuust in case.

I will come prepared!!!! Really, do any of you foresee a dip in vacationers to Disney (especially at Christmas time) due to the economy? We were there last Jan, and before we left, I read LOTS of reports of people that had planned dec/jan trips cancelling. Read on here, I mean. So, when we got there, we were just not prepared at all for the amounts of people that we saw. i know the 4/3 helped a lot. I am just wondering as the year has rolled on and there have been more lay offs and job cuts, do you think it'll be making a difference in our crowds?

DBF and I are going Dec 2 -11!!!

I've never gone in December so I have no idea what to expect but I'm EXCITED!

We're going with a free dining pin code. Normally I NEVER eat at table service restaurants but because of this code we'll be eating at them everyday.

I'm hoping a resort discount comes out so I can get that instead.

YAY!!! We are headed to WDW Dec 20 - 27th @ Beach Club Villas! Can't Wait! First time at Christmas... Just got back from one national holiday (4th of July) figuring we can handle the Christmas Holiday crowds after that!!! SO excited for everything!!!
