How was your day?

Mine was fine. Thanks for asking.

What keeps me going is the SSMC09. I need that in a bad way. So think SSMC09 and all the fun we are going to have.

Glad the day was not to bad. At least they waited till you got back to give to you instead of putting on your desk.

take care

Not exactly, I got a call on Friday afternoon, informing me I was expected in court, on Monday morning. So I rushed into the office Friday @ 4:00 to find out why, so I would be prepared. Turns out @ 5:00 I was told it was being postponed and I would be needed at a later date. So at least now I know, why and I will be prepared.

Have a good day.

Good morning everyone - happy Wednesday!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. It was a great day! My three close girlfriends from work (the ones I scrapbook with, do lunch with, etc.) brought be a huge bouquet of roses and lilies and a huge flower balloon. My boss also brought me a bouquet of flowers. In the afternoon the group had birthday cupcakes for me. We also went out to a birthday lunch though it was a small one at Boston Market since I wasn't 100% up for eating big.

Today we go out for another birthday lunch this time for my friend Jennifer. Yes we are only a day apart.

Mary,

That is great! All those flowers are so nice. Lilies and roses together sound so pretty.

Have fun today at lunch.

take care

Mary - I bet your office or home (or wherever those flowers are) smells heavenly! I just love getting flowers. However, the sad part is I usually have to buy them for myself. It sounds like you have a wonderful group of friends! Enjoy your lunch today.

Chris - I hope you are feeling well today.

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes. The funny thing is - is that when I posted I was more bragging on how I thought I was beating this cold (or whatever it was) and not really complaining about being sick. Then yesterday I felt worse than I ever had and thought I was losing the battle. I took some Nyquil last night to help me sleep and I woke up this morning feeling MUCH better. So a combination of well wishes from my DIS friends and Nyquil seemed to do the trick!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Since Mark and my birthday is so close we just celebrate together so it feels like the birthday has been going on for a while. We even bought ourselves a Wii Fit. Haven't hooked it up yet but couldn't pass it up when we went to Best Buy and they had it. We've been looking for it since we got the Wii. Anyone have one? What are your favorite things to do on it?
Mary - I got a Wii Fit the day they came out. I had pre-ordered it. It was great fun in the beginning, but now...I'm sad to say, it doesn't get much use.

It really is fun, I just haven't taken the time. I really need to get back to it. But I like the tennis from Wii Sports. I like the step aerobics from Wii Fit. And the Wii Ski game is fun too. I got the Jillian Micheals Fitness Ultimatum...but its not so good. I would not recommend that one. I was really disappointed in it.

There are two new game releases coming out that I think I will try in order to re-energize myself. Gold's Gym Cardio Workout comes out on March 31st and EA Sports Active which comes out on May 19th. They both look like they might be pretty good.

Courtney uses the balance board for a cheerleading game that she loves.

I agree that the Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum is not worth it. It was really disappointing. So far, the best game is the one that comes with the Wii Fit. The Hula Hooping is a lot of fun. It is hilarious watching my dad and sister try to beat each other's score. We really need to get it out and get back to using it.

Hula Hooping could not do it as a kid, and not on wii fit either.
