We were all booked for the ultimate celebration trip for September. (I am finishing my PhD and my birthday fell during our vacation week.) Alas...yucky job cuts forced us to think about our plans, so we cancelled September. After looking seriously at our plans, we are planning a much more simplified and less expensive trip over Halloween. I am so excited!!! I love Halloween at Disney and the weather should be much cooler!

Oh...we are planning to be there from 10/30 - 11/4

Almost had a complete meltdown last night. Went to my DH family reunion and found out that his aunt and uncle, who was going, then wasn't, are going now.

I have already made all of our ADR's without them. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO. I was almost shouting at my DH "didn't I tell them....didn't I tell them that they had to let me know at least 90 days in advance if they were going or not...didn't I tell them

" Now I have to try to get 8 people into a restaurant. Not going to happen, right?

But all is well. I got online (love it) and got 3 out of the 4 days fixed up. The only one I wasn't willing to budge on was my Le Cellier on Friday night. I just told them they had to fend for themeselves that night.

Now I just have to completely rearrange my touring plans and days, but I have 75 more days to get that done.

October finally seems so close!

We're going October 16th thru the 24th and staying at the AKL.

And I'm so excited because we'll be going to MNSSHP for the first time ever on the 18th!

I can so relate. I had friends that were going down with us, I wasn't sure about them so I went ahead and made my ressies there were 2 places that they definately wanted to eat with us, so I went ahead and tried to get those as well for a party of 7. Now that they are going this month instead I had to call back and cancel those ressies! Now my little brother is thinking about meeting us down there for a couple of days! Ah the insanity! I told him he needs to tell us ASAP or they will be eating burgers and pizza the whole time!

I have never been to LeCellier, but I woun't budge on that one either, I am really looking forward to trying to it this trip..

Paying deposit today for Oct 11th - 17th. So excited I can't even stand it.

My whole house just keeps saying, mom, we are really going? really?
This will be our 2nd visit to DW as we were booked for 2007 and life threw us a curve and we had to cancel. Everyone is just to thrilled to be getting back.
Not to mention we stayed value last trip and this trip because of free dinning pin we are staying at CBR so that just makes things even better.
My DD will turn 12 on this trip and she is very excited to be in DW for her birthday.

Prices for the resorts went down...so we changed our resort from POP to Port Orleans French Quarter.

I just think POFQ is such a pretty place. So I'm happy that we are able to do this. THEN......we decided to add an extra day to our vacation!!!!! We were originally going October 16-24 but now we are going the 15-24!!!!!

One extra magical day!!!!! wooohoooo!!!!

I'm doing the happy dance too! I just found a DIS'er who has an Illuminations cruise booked for 10/6 and was looking for more people to fill the boat

!! I think I will keep it a secret from my boys.
