Anyone know of any fireworks cruises happening during that wonderful month?

I'd love a waterbased, fireworky DIS meet.

Tikkipoo - a general public free dining offer could possibly come out for October-December. There is the AP rate out there now, as well as the Disney VISA free dining offer. It is not out of the realm of possibility that they will release another offer soon. Good luck if that is what you are looking for!

On Oct 2 we are going to do the Pirates and Pals cruise. I think that looks like fun!

When or if free dining is offered.....what is the criteria for getting it??? To you have to book everything as a package, such as room, WDW park tickets, etc??

We will heading to WDW 10/18-24/2009 Staying in CBR . 6 of us Grammy&Pop me andDH,DD5and DS4. Heading to MNSSHP on 10/22. Hope to see some Diser's there.

Historically it had to be purchased as a package: room and tickets. A minimum 1 day MYW ticket for each person on the reservation is required as well as all people must purchase the same type/length of tickets.

The reason I ask is cause I booked my room by itself a few months back (staying at POP). But I just recently purchased my Park Tickets from Undercover Tourist and got them last week. So let say the DO offer the Free Dining thing......I'm out of luck

Yes and no. You can easily have your free dining offer added to your room ressie. BUT you would have to buy a 1 day MYW base ticket for each person on the ressie. So you have to weigh if the free food is worth the cost of the 1 day tickets.

As long as the tickets are unopened you could return them to Undercover Tourist and get a full refund..

yeah.....i wish I had that kind of self control. Nope.....as soon as i made sure they were exactly what I ordered....I RIPPED open that plastic. That poor plastic didn't stand a chance. I was just too excited to see my tickets!!!!

What can I say.....absolutely no self control!!!

I just got back from Wal-Mart. I am excited cause I'm starting to get some little things that I will be needing for my vacation!!!

I got some plain baseball caps in beige, white, pink and like army green. I also picked up some blister prevention stuff and also some blister cover things just in case. I also picked up a $5 beach bag for when we go to the water parks. I figured for $5....could not beat that! Then I got rain ponchos for all of us....including a cute pink one for my daughter!! The last thing I got was a big can of sunscreen!!!

I'm definately on my way now!!! It's getting really exciting! When I first started planning my trip.....it felt like FOREVER!! But it's really not going to be too much longer now!!! My DD starts school in 2 weeks.....and she will have her first 9 week session......and then it's FALL BREAK!!!!

Which of course is when we go!!!

Sorry for the ramblings......I just had to get the excitment out!!!!
