6 days!

I packed DS's suitcase today. I just have to throw in a pair of jeans, shoes, and toiletries.

Here is a question:

I have been checking both weather.com and accuweather.com for the forecast. On 10/17 there is a 10 degree difference in the two sites. Weather.com calls for 87 degrees, and Accuweather calls for 77 degrees. Which do you think is more reliable?

In my town I've always found accuweather to be more reliable, but it may vary by location. Based on the current weather 87 sounds more likely, but who knows! Hope you have a wonderful trip, whatever the weather!

AACCKKK!! Is anyone else stressing? We leave next Friday-driving- and I have 8 million things to do!!

Cleaning the house before we go, well, straightening it up, cleaning the car, taking the cat to the vet....well...you know.

How is everyone doing this? Where should I start?

I totally agree with those of you stressing over all the little things that need to be done before the trip! And I still have 2 weeks!

I'm making a list, and hopefully will check a thing or two off each day. But it never fails that night night before we leave I am running around until really late. It always puts me in a foul mood. Part of the problem is that I'm a little obsessive about getting the house spotless before we leave. I love coming home to a clean house!

I am all packed up - except for a few odds and ends.
Cut out my LGMH out of foam board to hang on our wheelchair. Need to decorate those.
Laundry is all done up - if I can keep it that way for the next 6 days, I will be doing very good.
Still debating the photopass thing...

It's been a very productive day, and I am pooped!

Also very confused about the weather differences between weather.com and accuweather...10 degrees different, one raining one not....

I so don't need this.

Last week was 88-93 as a high. I sure hope that Accuweather is right but I don't think so

We are also getting ready--last weekend to prepare before we leave on Friday!

Took the cats to the vet, getting the house organized... probably won't start officially packing until Wednesday or Thursday because it drives the cats crazy.

We FINALLY got the construction project on our ceiling finished on Friday, so we've been cleaning up from that and putting the house back together... Phew!

I can't wait for vacation!

5 Days Left.....

It's getting very close now!!! I'm "offically" on vacation!!! Yesterday was my last day of work. I cleaned the house really good today now I have to dive into the packing thing! I should be all done by Monday evening. That leaves me with Tuesday and Wednesday for a little rest and relaxation!

I had just recently started reading the Twilight series. I am down to the final book!!! My plan is to read it on my 3 1/2 hour flight to Orlando. I haven't started it yet, but it is taking everything in me not to pick up the book and start reading!!!

I have no will power!!!

Those books are so compelling! I don't know how you are resisting! When we took them to WDW, we had to spend extra time at the pool reading because we just couldn't put them down!

We just got back..let me tell you it was HOT for October. The first couple of days were perfect then mother nature decided to let Orlando hit record temps for the month of October..we got very little rain and it was muggy and felt like 110 degrees with the humidity. When I was checking the weather everyday we had at least a 40% chance of rain and the temp was only supposed to be 80 at the highest.

So who knows what kind of weather you guys will be facing! Have a wonderful trip..
