Oh no! I hope your hubby feels better soon and that things work out. How stressful! Sending you "good vibes"!

As far as the trip: we are going to be quite the pair! I am still on a 10 lb lifting restriction and now he can't lift with his right hand/arm. Poor DS 13 is going to be our pack mule for all the luggage.

He won't be able to swim but we are still going to visit Blizzard Beach.

We are packing his brace to wear at night, to keep it stationary, so it won't dislocate in his sleep again.

MNSSHP: I bought tickets for October 6!! My boys are almost 14 and 17 and this might be one of our last trips to the World for a while and the only time we will be their during Halloween time. We will have fun.

9 DAYS!
Not that a shoulder injury isn't serious, but at least it doesn't affect his walking! I hope it doesn't cause him much pain on the trip. Sounds like you've got a good plan, so I'm sure it'll be just fine!

I'm so glad you're doing MNSSHP! We'll be there on the 8th for our first time, too. I may be wrong, but, from everything I've read, I think our teenagers will love it!

This time next week we'll be on the road to Indy so that we can get our flight to WDW

To do this weekend: haircuts, last minute shopping, packing, getting the house all neat and tidy, laundry, and lots of love and attention for my little furbaby and featherbabies.

I have a Jack Russell, her name is Tink and my own version of the Tikiroom- an African Grey parrot, cockatiel, lovebird, and budgie. They are usually my biggest anxiety when going on vacation. They are all spoiled rotten and even though I have capable sitters, no one loves them like their Mom.

I know how you feel...I have a Jack Russell/Shih Tzu mix named Peanut. She is my baby, and it's always really hard to leave her with my IL's when we go on vacation, even though she loves it at their house. I'm still holding out hope that someday Disney will open a pet-friendly hotel
