OK, we let the cat out of the bag. After realizing more than likely there will not be an ultrasound during the next visit, we can't hold out for another month and a half. I figure I've already been proclaimed prego by my doctor and nothing going on with me has detected otherwise, so why not just let everyone know.

I don't know what I hear more of as we tell friends ... "congratulations" or "Can I have your LSU tickets?"

For those of you who missed Jon's tweets from last night that he deleted, here is a summary from the crazy boards:

oh he mainly was trying to get the hang of things. He didn't realize that anything he typed in the box would go out to anyone following him. He wanted advice on how to do things EVERYBODY would see, someone asked him something about South Africa, must have been have you ever been to South Africa, or they were from South Africa, something along those lines 'cause his response was South Africa? That's one place I've never been! Do you have a spare room for me?? LOL I of course was wishin' I was in South Africa about that time! LOL Somebody else must have asked him about his anxiety, he said he was doing really well with it since the reunion. Someone asked him about his dog...someone asked him about going solo, and he nixed that one right in the bud. He said absolutely NO... :-( bummer...In a nutshell that was about it I think. Kept saying he was tired and needed to go to bed. LOL But then kept typing. He did end by saying he was sorry, but he had to get some sleep. THey had 11 shows in a row and only 1 day off, so he needed to get some sleep. Said he didn't know if he'd ever do the the Tweet thing again, but it was fun and thanked everyone...other than that...that was about it! I'm really hoping he tweets some more...and yes, I did get online and go to his page this morning and everything was gone! I was like, OH HOLY!!! What did he do?? So I'm assuming he must have deleted them all... :-(

For those of you who have been to the shows, do they have any different merchandise than what's at the online store? Also, do they take CCs or just cash?

They take cash and cc's. I don't know about the merchandise, I haven't looked online.

Soe of the merch is different, some is the same design with tour info. There is a track jacket that can only be purchased at the shows. They take CC and cash.

So, how is this for a little friday night excitement... my NK partner in crime just called me. She had a call from the radio station this afternoon. Her sister (who is going to the show with us) had entered her in the "why do you want to meet NKOTB" contest for backstage passes and she won! Amanda said that Sadie had been going through a lot and she is a great sister, blah, blah, blah. Her husband answered the phone because Sadie was taking a nap and she found out when she woke up! She called the radio station back and the guy that is in charge of the promotion was already gone for the day, so she does not know much. The lady she did talk to said there are anywhere from 1-4 passes, she is not sure,so I have a chance of going with her!!!OMG! I am trying not to freak out! I will be soooooo bummed if she goes without me after everything we have done together for NKOTB in the last year! AAAGAGHHHHHH... think good thoughts for me!!! Holy Crap!!!

My poor husband - I made him watch nkotb concert videos on youtube! He was nice enough to agree to watch with me though because he said he knows I'm excited about Sunday, so if I wanted him to watch them with me he would So, then just now he was getting some cereal and comes in here with a box of Oh's and goes "look....oh oh oh oh oh....." He's so cute...I think I'll keep him

Ohhhh...girls...I'm so stressed out. The kids will both be in school all day come September and I have no idea what I'm going to do. I'm planning on working but...I don't know what I want to do when I grow up. Sadly I went right into the family business out of high school so I don't have an education to fall back on.

So...I'm kind of freaking out right now because whatever it is has to coincide with the kids' schedules. I'm really feeling frustrated right now. I'm very mad at myself for not using my brain and going to school. I don't have it in me to go now, with all the stuff the kids have going on and my husband's schedule (he's never home) it would be impossible. I don't know what to do.

Check with the schools in the township your kids go to. That would be perfect since you would be on their break schedules and their start and end times. You could do something administrative, work in the cafeteria (yep, a "lunch lady!"), or even substitute teach. I have a friend who is a sub and he doesn't mind the elementary age kids and I don't think you have to have a college degree for elementary. I don't know about the situation there, but here sub teachers are really in demand.
