DISer chapter of NKOTB anonymous, part deux... we don't want an intervention!!!

Hi gals...I sort of stumbled upon you all as another board friend pointed you out. I hope it's not to late to jump in!

I was at the concert in Baltimore, something that was a complete last minute thing. I ended up with free tickets and there was no way that I was not going to go!! My girlfriend from high school (who went with me to their Step by Step tour) came along. It was such a blast, there aren't many times as an adult that you can act like a 15 year old girl again! Thanks for sharing the pics from the concert, they were awesome!!

Good Morning Ladies!!!! Holy crap tomorrow is the day that I have been waiting for for 20 years. I finally get to meet Jordan Freaking Knight!!!! I really have no idea what I am going to say to the man. I guess I'll figure it out when I get there.

I got to work this morning and we have a girl that goes through all of our local newspapers and cuts out articles that have something to do with our business and I had an article from the Portland Newspaper in my inbox this monring about NKOTB. I thought it was cute that she thought of me and cut it out for me.

So I'll try to check in again before I leave in the morning, but if not I'll try to figure this twitter thing out so I can do that tomorrow night from the show.

Has anyone replied to any of Donnie's messages? I have started to a couple of times and then feel dumb and delete it. Thank GOD this stuff was not around when I was 14!

Hi ladies! The concert was amazing. It went by way too quickly though. I really hope there's a summer tour because I'm dying to go again. And this time, I will have floor seats!! Our seats weren't bad. We were in the lower section, about 5 rows back, the B stage was about 10-15 feet away. That's the closest I've ever been to those boys...except in Hartford when Jordan did a solo show and I was literally right behind him!

I wasn't all that crazy about the changes they made except for Joey's solo Other than that, the show was perfect the way it was!

My sister now wants to go on the cruise. And I'm seriously considering it. I just priced it out. My DBf said if I go on that, he's going to go on a playmate cruise. So totally NOT the same thing!

Oh and for the record, I want to be a Jabbawockee. They were freakin awesome! I voted for them when they were on ABDC and I'm glad I did!

Awesome pics girls! I'm glad you had fun. And Shelby, seriously. Lay off yourself, girl! You're so cute!

Glad you had a good time!!! That is how I feel about the changes, too. I am glad they added Call it What You Want, but I wish they would have left Single as the opener. And, I don't care for Single on B Stage... Dirty Dancing was so freakin' hot back there!!! Funny that Joe did the same pose. I am wau impreesed with Jon's pose in Baltimore... 3 shows last fall and I never saw him move! Even heard him talk that night!!! And I loved the Jabbawhatever's... they rock... but the masks kind of freak me out a little!

I think that you should definitely do the cruise!!!

Aww, thanks girls...I needed that today. I'm having a rotten day. I've been dealing with a lot of things that I'm just getting very, very tired of... I am not sure where I'm headed in life at this point. Keep me in your prayers if you don't mind.

Anyway, on to the concert...I was impressed with Jon's pose as well. He really seemed to be into it that night. Other times when we saw him he could have left the stage and no one would have even known! This time he was dancing like crazy, laughing and just having fun. I'm not trying to imply that I had something to do with it, but there is always that possibility...it could have been that big ol' hug!!!

I wasn't happy about Single being on the B stage, I wanted it as the opening song too. I really love Twisted but can't help but laugh at Joe when he's being all serious and trying look all sexy. I don't know why, I just think that's funny. He's adorable and those eyes but I just don't see him that way. I did enjoy his songs though.

I would love it if Jordan actually SANG Give it to You....because it is obvious he's lip syncing...anyone else notice that???

I'm still not on board with the whole Twitter thing...I just don't know if I'm a twitterer...

I didn't like that Dirty Dancing was moved to the main stage. I LOVED that on the B-stage. I like Call It What You Want but not as an opener. Single was perfect for that.

You get used to the masks! I loved that they had a big mask in the middle of their stage. But they had to break down their own set. What's up with that??

If I can afford the cruise, I will do the cruise.

See, now Jon left the B-Stage at my show. I have a picture of the 4 guys up on stage and Jon talking to security. What's that all about? I think the crowd gets to him when he's out there. I can't see him on this cruise. I hope he's up for another tour because I want to see them in the summer! Hang in there, Jon!

I noticed that at the first concert I went to, he's lip synching! You're singing everything else, why not that song??

Oh Shelby I hope everything is okay You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I have had a wierd sort of 24 hours too. It's a long story, buy family issues with my parents basically I just have a hard time with them sometimes. My husband called me this morning and told me that he is getting cut from 40 hours a weeks to 20 hours a week starting April 6th so that is weighing on my mind too. I know we'll be fine because the money he makes is basically our play money anyway, but he feels awful because he doesn't feel like he is pulling his weight for our family. I try and try to assure him that we will be fine, but I guess I would probably feel the same way if the roles were reversed.

Anyway, I'm going to try to wrap my mind around work while I'm here because I haven't been able to concentrate so far today. In the back of my mind I really AM excited for tomorrow but now all of this other stuff is creaping in so I'm trying to stay upbeat for tomorrow.

Heather, I replied to one of Donnie's messages, and I felt silly too. But I didn't entirely want to delete it in the random chance he actually reads his @replies. So I just added a newer tweet after that one so it's not at the top at least. Apparently I've put too much thought into this. I blame it on sheer exhaustion.

My dh made the mistake of asking me last night after we went to bed if I am getting excited for the concert..... like I could get to sleep after he started me thinking about that!

Melody - I highly doubt that sleep is in my future for tonight. I think of the disney commercial "I'm too excited to sleep" that will be me tonight. Oh, I forgot to tell ya'll. I had a funny dream last night and the only part I can remember is this. I was in some department store looking for special pajamas for my best friend and I for the night of the concert (I know wierd but just go with it). So I remember looking up (the ceilings were high in this place) and on the like the 6th rack up I see these NKOTB boxer shorts but I can't reach them. So I go over to this lady and ask for help and she yells out that I need help getting the NKOTB boxer shorts and everyone in the whole store just turned around and looked and me and started laughing. That's all I remember........but now I want some NKOTB boxer shorts.

Shelby - Please help me to not be nervous.......what am I going to say to this man? I just don't know, you've been through it.....help!!!
