Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010 - The DIS Discussion Forums

Here's the story, of some lovely ladies, who met while trip planning on the DIS…

Well, I don't have time to come up with additional lyrics to be sung to the tune of the Brady Bunch but you get the point.

It all started some 250 pages and 3,000++ posts ago and has turned into a group of friends who are there for each other to laugh and cry together, support each other and yes, countdown to Disney trips . While we've all been chatting for a while now, we welcome any new faces who want to come along with all of our nuttiness (is that a word?). Seriously, we’re relatively normal.

So what do you need to know about us?

- We are planning a trip in April 2010 for Flower & Garden festival - a mix of attendees, some solo, some w/ hubby, some w/ kids

- Occasionally we do trip planning on this thread but for the most part it's chatting amongst friends

- Speaking of chatting, we have our own chat room, thanks to Julezdisney http://disaway.blogspot.com

- We have a gnome. Yes, a gnome. His name is Nobby. I'm not sure I can explain but I will try. At some point as we were talking about Flower & Garden someone (Lady Lallie) mentioned her love of the garden gnome. Paula (Iluvcrush) was quick to confess her secret love of gnomes as well. From there Paula decided we needed our own gnome and Nobby journeyed from the land of travelocity.com to meet his new family. Since he's joined us, he has visited WDW with Jen (jenjolt) and also Chicago with Julez. You can read an ongoing account of his WDW trip with Jen here or about his Chicago trip here.

I really can't wait either. It's going to be so much fun. I was thinking that next month it will be only 1 Year! Yahoooo! Time is going to fly by, I can just feel it.

Today is a slower than usual day at my work.

Which is giving me time to obsess over my Disney Itinerary. I think I will be calling Disney this evening.

I wish I had a slow day -- I really want to finish the book I am reading -- I only have about 70 more pages.

Hey I may be sick and so doped up on meds I can't think straight but I made it to page 1 and I get a call out in the first post GO C!!! YAY!!!

Hey guys, well I'm back to work, should I be well I'll let you know at 3pm...whatever has its hold on me is fighting til the bitter end. Someone please tell me at some point I'll feel normal again...OMGosh this is just driving me bonkers.

Well I need to grocery shop because we have nothing in our house and well we need to eat LOL

BTW good news being sick help me lose 5 lbs and weened me off caffeine so hey...its a start LOL!!!

WEll back to standardized testing LOL...just wanted to stop in a say hello!!
