Glad you had a great trip...sorry about your room (I would have requested a room change, but we like a good view on vacation as we always have down time everyday).

Location sounds great, though! We're considering requesting Cabana's next trip.

Tim, thanks for letting us know about your trip and your stay at the CSR. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it (although I wish you could have gotten that view of the lake). Next time you stay, try out the Casitas--it is our favorite section and the only one we've stayed at in our seven visits (and, believe it or not, we are thinking of asking for Ranchos or Cabanas this trip...just for a change of view

).

Please do let us know if you do a trip report so that we can share in your adventures. And we can't wait for your pictures (and if you don't mind, I may copy those pictures up to the CSR Photo page).

JamesLynn: First, you are a good friend to help your friend through her ordeal.

Thanks for the update on CSR. Casitas 5 is where we usually request and stay on each trip so I'm glad to hear it might be next on the rehab list (although we are thinking of trying Cabanas or Ranchos just for a change of view after our first seven stays).

Keep us posted when you can.

You got that sleet yesterday? My son was driving home from Dubuque with two of his roommates (they are now on a ship on the way to the Bahamas) and they said it was freezing/icy/rain driving through Dubuque into Illinois. We just had really heavy rains yesterday (kept checking the basement after last year's torrential storms).

Lucky you for going in two weeks. I know Wisconsin weather is often worse than our weather in Illinois (I spent enough time in Wisconsin when son was in school there before he transferred to Dubuque).
