It still lists double beds because there are approximately 75-100 rooms that are getting new king beds and they have not been converted yet. Otherwise, all the rooms getting queen beds have them.

I stayed in the Ranchos last Sept and the room had queed beds-

I do have a question- the re fillable mugs- are they the same old ones from last year? And are they all the type that wont fit into the cup holder of the car?? (the mugs at CSR were still resort specific last Sept and the 'old style)

Yes, the CSR has the same mugs and same size.

Does anyone know where the link is to Buzz's unofficial CSR webpage? I thought it used to be in his signature or on the first page. I don't see it though!?!?!

We have booked the 4/3 pkg for 8/7-14 and just received the confirmation letter. The info includes our dates, the deposit confirmation and the payment info the balance. I requested Cabana 8A at the time I booked and this is listed on the letter as well.

Should I still fax a request a few days before we leave?

Hey everybody,
Just a quick update. I've been having problems with the DIS website lately. Can't respond to pms and the website is loading funny.

Anywho, 6A is completed in it's refurbishment and 6B is currently down for refurbishment. It looks like they are going to move into Casitas 5 next.

Also our night time courtesy shuttle has been shut down.

Thank you all for being understanding as I have went MIA for awhile. Unfortunately, one of my dearest fellow CMs has and still is currently going through a terrible divorce. She has no family here and Florida so I was her go-to girl. She is now safe and sound (along with her one year old daughter) in Kentucky with her aunt and is working on getting the things she wants in their divorce agreement. It's been quite a stressful time for the both of us.

We always send in our fax request about three days before our arrival at the CSR. A lot of people say the faxes are not read, but we've been told my the front desk at the CSR that they are. So it certainly wouldn't hurt to send in the fax.

Ok.......mini trip report time on CSR 3/1-3/8

So we're back!
This was our 1st time at CSR and also our first time staying on property. We stayed in Cabanas 8A on the second floor in a king room facing the parking lot. I was a little disappointed with the view but whatever. It was a renovated room and was clean. As the week went on i think that having a 2yr old being on the second floor far from the elevator was the worst part. But we managed. As far as the view goes.... Yes it would be nice to open the door and see the lake and the hammocks. But to tell you the truth we were in the room from 9:30pm to 8am and then were gone all day. So I had mostly park views.

We were in the parks everyday except for Wednesday. This was our 'relaxing' day. My daughter loved the dig site. It was a little cold (71) but we went in the pool anyway. Had the nacho's for lunch and my DW & DD shared the chicken fingers. We took a nice walk around the lake and checked out the resort. The Casitas & Ranchos sections (in my opinion) have nicer architecture and grounds. But being in 8A for us was the perfect spot... close to el centro, the laundry, dig site, and bus stop #4. There was also the quiet pool (which we didnt use) close as well.

We loved the resort and I would stay here again without a doubt. Next time I would like to spend a little more time in the resort relaxing. We were kinda 'park commando's' this trip trying to fit everything in.

Also thanks to Buzz and Kathy for answering everyones questions (including mine). I can see why so many people love this resort. I might post a trip report.... never did one before .. seems like work LOL but I guess I can relive our trip while doing it.
