As of now, Cabanas 8A and 8B and 9A and 9B are finished. The 4th floor of Casitas 1, 2 and 3 are finished. They are currently working on Ranchos 6A. The rehab is scheduled to be completed around October 09.

I'm interested in the one that has carryout/quick food--not the bar/nightclub. Is it near the main pool?

No, it is between the gift shop and the bar/lounge (the bar lounge entrance is completely away from the quick food/carryout). This is all located in the main building. There is Siestas which is at the main pool which has snacks and some meals for while you are at the pool. And yes they are on the dining plan (the last I checked).

It's in the main building next to the gift shop. A couple of days we ate a very late lunch at the parks and would eat a late dinner at the resort, my daugher wasn't much into the Pepper Market and would get these chicken wraps at the other place, they were pretty good.

I was there in February and we had a delightful time - hope you do too! Enjoy the hibiscus flowers in bloom - and post a picture of them if you can!

When you are given a room that you did not request-- could you say no thanks- I'd like to wait for a room in the section we requested??

I don't know...never tried as we've always gotten the section we wanted. However, if the resort is full, you could wait several days to get the room you want. You have to remember that a request is just that...a request.

Does anyone know if I can purchase a half gallon of milk and flavored coffee creamer at the resort or do I need to go to a shopping service?

Here is a picture of the Gift Shop at the CSR with what they have in their case. I do not remember seeing creamer, but I don't use it, so I wouldn't look for it:
