Getting Into the Details Now that the wedding is booked I realize I haven't said much about all the little things. I've spent tons of time searching through Etsy.com and have found some really awesome things, though I haven't purchased anything yet. Veil I've known ever since Caryn's PJ last year that I wanted a birdcage veil. I found this one that I love on Etsy ![]() I like this as a fascinator ![]() or I may make something up myself with peacock feathers. Inviatations So I had found some peacock invites on etsy that I liked as well ![]() But now I'm thinking they are too blue, not Art Deco enough, and i am getting too focused on peacock items and not enough Art Deco in general. So what I've decided I want to do is make an invite that looks like an old cruiseline poster and luckily while doing an image search some lovely Disney artist already made something similar! ![]() I'm going to play around in Photoshop find a good font. I'm pretty excited about the project ![]() I'm also thinking of maybe somehow incorporating an old Holland America line poster or item because my Dad's parents met while working for them back in the 40s and I think that would be an awesome shout out and a nice way to remember my grandpa and incorporate my grandma.

Congrats for getting the date! And yay for another October Bride! (We're the 12th!)
I agree - I think the cruise poster is the better invitation. The blue just doesn't seem to fit in as well with your green and art deco theme. I can't wait to see what you come up with! I love the logo you made for the poker chips and all!

Inspiration Board So I have attempted to gather my thoughts tonight by scouring the internet and creating an inspiration board. In the process I found a website offbeatbride.com That has me really wanting a green dress now! I looove every wedding on there! Anyway I put together a bunch of images to get a sense of what I want. I'm bummed because I can't find the image of the really cool cake I found, oh well. Not like I'm going to have much say in the cake anyway So here goes..... ![]() And there you have it folks. My green/ Art Deco inspiration

love the green/art deco theme! It is very fun and youthful, and somehow still elegent and sophisticated... I think you actually pulled off an amazing do-it-all theme Becky! Do you think your going to go for the green dress now?? I bet it would look amazing especially with your hair color!

Just a quick post before work as I had a thought just as I was going to bed last night...
DF and I are going on a cruise with his parents and brothers on March 15th and I thought it would be a great idea to mail our STDs from Castaway Cay! DF thought the idea was great as well. So now I just have to get the STDs made in a little over 2 weeks
