Looking for brunch recipes and sides for ladies only.

I am having a Party at my house and am having a brunch. I am looking for the best easy brunch recipes people have used. I have made the egg and ham bake but am a little tired of that. Thanks in advance. If you are in Northern Miinnesota, feel free to drop in for brunch! Just PM me for details.

How about a baked french toast? It can be made ahead of time & just pop it in the oven when you are ready.

There are a bunch of recipes to choose from on the various search engines.

Have fun!

We love the creme brulee french toast found at allrecipies.com. Best of all, it is something that can be made ahead of time! http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Creme-B...st/Detail.aspx

I am going to go a more lunch type idea, this is something that everybody loves we serve with fruit salad & mini muffins.

Tena's Famous Chicken Pasta Salad

Dressing
1 1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup real mayo
3T half & half
1/3/4 Beau Monde seasoning(by Spice Island kinda celery & onion salt mix)

Grill 1 pkg of frozen Chicken Breast about 5- 7 # I think- in the winter I have baked in the oven or boiled. cut into 1/2 inch pieces

1 10 oz box medium shells cooked & cooled

3 cups chopped Celery
1 small onion chopped
3 cups red grapes halved
1 pkg slivered Almonds

Mix all together add salt & pepper if needed, this is best if you make it the day ahead.

finger sandwiches of any type are always a hit. I always think of salad (chicken, egg, tuna) sandwiches as particularly lady like when cute in triangles with the crusts cut off.

Also if you make any of the breakfast casseroles (french toast or egg style ones) be sure to put a foil lined rimmed cookie sheet underneath them to catch any bubble over! I forgot at my last brunch and ended up smoking up the house when it boiled over in the dish onto the oven floor!

Have some breads like cranberry nut bread, banana nut bread cut into slices and served with Devonshire cream. These are easy make ahead items that you can have ready the day before and not worry about occupying your oven or need heating up. Serve it with a variety of preserves, jams, honey as well. The devonshire can be just mock by whipping cream cheese, cream and sugar.
