If you charge your trip to a Disney VISA, then pay interest (as most, but not all, do...), they make MORE money.... They definitely want to offer it first to the ones they have the greatest chance of making more money on.... (luckily they get NOTHING more from us...paid in full ![]() BUT it IS a bummer that you can't even GET the card...they are LOSING money...fools...(I'm sure it has to do w/ regulations and laws...)

Yep, the pound sterling is worth about US$1.46 currently (about CDN$1.78).

When we were at Disney in 2007 they had a little kiosk set up at DTD and the lady there said that the Disney Visa would soon be available in Canada. I don't remember the time frame but I seem to remember soon after that. Obviously THAT was shelved.

I think just the more popular rooms sell out. I was booking value in 07 and i remember POP & Movies were sold out first. Then music... and last was sports.
Thats the way it always books out. Followed by Pop Century preferred them A.S. preferred. I can't count the number of times I've heard "We dont have any rooms available at that price for that rate... But I AM showing a PREFERRED room at......."

Question:
I already booked our trip for a Disney Halloween this year. My trip includes room, park hopper, ddp, vacation ins and a 40% off room code. If my some miracle a better deal or free dining comes available will i loose any part of my deposit for rebooking? I am mainly wondering about the vacation ins since it's nonrefundable. Essentially i wouldn't be looking for a refund just a change in the reservation. Does this make sense?

Why is it that some people were told there were preferred rooms available, and that it was their only choice, and others were just upgraded (I assume it was complimentary?) Did they just overbook it? |

Yes we found out by reading the boards the people were getting calls offereing upgrades in May. I called and since one of our ressies had a pin attached they were able to upgrade all 4 of our rooms. We each got a 1 br at SSR. I was great! $80 a night and free dining!!!

Sorry if this has been asked and answered but I'm a Canadian hoping to get FD in early December. Is this only offered to people with Disney VISA?
