dining pins
I hate to be a cynic but I wonder if we never get codes or deals because we've been 20 times, cruised 4 times, own DVC and never complain about anything. Disney just doesn't have to do anything special to get us to go there? I know some Disney nuts do get stuff but we haven't. We dont like to think bad things about Disney but it is a corportation after all that has to keep bringing in new business.
I guess we'll just keep going and keep our fingers crossed. Tony

I dont know if it was a random act of good luck that we got free dining pin for trip or what but...I do know that i was on here and listening to everyone talk about their pins and free dining Etc. So I went to the disney website and lurked around for a while about and hour and low and behold I had a pin in my email that afternoon. Now I know it could be a total random thing...but I think me speding some time on the site in the planning section may have helped...

Woo Hoo, I just received the free DDP PIN for Oct - early Dec. I was previously booked for two packages on the adults dine and play at kid's prices for QSDP (value resort) PIN but I changed one of them over to the DDP and saving $140! I think I may keep the other as QSDP but may change it as well.
I also asked the CM if he thought that the free dining would be extended for the general public and he highly doubted it. Said it may happen, but he wasn't expecting it to since the resorts are filling up.

I got my Pin!!!
Day 5 of my Vacation today... I work long hours for a busy bridal salon and haven't had much time off sense Dec 08... I grab the mail and see Goofy with a covered dinner platter!!! There it was, "A delicious deal for My Family!" It was my 1st offical pin. Now with the $$$ I think we'll save we'll stay at a mod resort which will also be a 1st cause i've only stayed at value... I have all intentions off booking our 1st Disney Holiday this week if not tomorrow if the weather is bad and we don't make it to the beach... Attending will be my parents who's last visit to the world was in 1987, My lil brother who went for the first time at the age of 21, and my family... Im in Disney planning mode... With this being our 3rd time on the plan so im learnin how to max the credits... Basically just get my $$$ worth. Im sooo excited. The pin is for the basic service which we have always used and found to be the best way to go... Waiting now for the hours for Dec so we can begin ADRs!!!

Congrats to all of you with pin codes!
I know that it may be greedy because I already booked in Dec with 40% off room but I would be exstatic (is that even how you spell that???) if I got a free dining pin. I would even add a couple days! I had to call Disney today to change our address and phone number so I checked but no pin codes.  So I went online to disney's site and tottled around. My sister keeps getting codes but her husband won't take her right now.  Here's hoping that all our dreams come true!!!!
