I just wanted to come on here and say goodnight. I'm off to bed to get some rest for the big reveal early tomorrow morning! I can't wait! Thank you for all the company and advice you've given to me! I've learned so much!

Okay ya'll!! We are almost 100% packed!! Kids are finished, Mike is working on his right now, I have my clothes ready--just have to do makeup & stuff in the morning. Last load of laundry going, dog dropped off with sitter,car washed and full of gas.....fixing to print boarding passes, bringing paper work to my suitcase when I get off of here. Gotta finish the fridge/trash--we are ready for bed........

Leaving at 6a.m.!!! I am tired from being up with dd last night. She seems to feel better--went really easy on the food again today, only a bit of yucky poo, but no puke!! Ya'll pray for us we are through with all of this!!!!!

Okay, I will get with you ASAP after we get back!!! I wanted to thank ya'll again for being such a great group of friends and a wonderful support group!! Ha!!!! Miss me while I am gone!!!! Ha!!!

Hello Snowbirds... its 5:30 am and I couldn't sleep... been up every hour... so I figured I would get up and finish the last minute things I need to do before we leave today. We won't head for the airport until about 2 pm today but have some errands to do this morning....

Meghan.... hope your surprise goes well!!!

Can't wait to meet my Snowbird friends TONIGHT at CBR!!!!

Just like the commercial - "I'm too excited to sleep!" I hope you have a wonderful trip - and I hope I see you! I'm sad I don't get there til Monday, but it will come soon enough.

Hello all! We just arrived at JFK awhile ago. The flight was really only 45 minutes or so. I don't think our flight to Orlando will take 3 hours then. Yea! We'll get there sooner. Our surprise went very well! Our DD was very excited, but very tired. After the tiredness wore off, she was jumping for joy (as was I). My pictures that I took during the surprise came out blurry. I was shaking!!!! She loves her "Guide to the Magic" book. We skimmed it over while we were at the Buffalo airport. I walked around a bit at the airport and I ran into a family from church who's going down today as well. She's the friend of mine who almost ruined the surprise a few weeks ago!

I can't wait to get to Florida!!!!

I wish i were on my way there today.....although I have a long weekend at work starting thurs and I am seriously considering going down for the weekend.

Can I ask those who are headed down this week, based on the weather reports, are you packing for warm weather, as in capris/shorts every day? The nightime low's are in the 50's, will you switch to jeans for that or just throw on a jacket?

Ok...let's see...beside the one long pair of jeans I'm wearing down, I'm packing all capri jeans (light weight) for myself. I figured this is what I would do....wear capri/tank shirt, and a zip up hoodie. If it's hot I plan on taking off the hoodie..if it's colder and I need more than just the lightweight hoodie...I have a fleece zip up longer jacket that will I'll wear also. That's my plans for the whole week.

For my kids....basically the same thing...my little one I'll probably start off with his sweatpants, t-shirt, sweatshirt, and if need be a jacket also. I'll throw in a pair of his shorts in my park bag, and as the day gets warmer....I'll put them on him. Basically the same idea for the older 2 kids.

My husband is on his own LOL....I've been asking him all week to pull out stuff to bring...tomorrow night he'll be saying my shorts don't fit...as we are leaving on Monday

we are here sitting at the airport.... DH brought his laptop so I can DIS... well that wasn't the real reason.... we have 1 1/2 hrs before we board... the boys are so excited!!!! ME TOO!!! DH not so much....

I'm going on Monday - and I packed a variety - jeans, capris, shorts, long and short sleeves. and jackets. We are also going on a cruise after, so I packed tanks and shorts for that, plus dresses (for us girls!). I've been seeing fairly warm highs for the next week's forecast, so I'm WAY excited! One more day of this subzero garbage!!!

Me too, and I haven't even gone yet! We'll have to have a "former snowbirds trip reports" thread!!

Everyone has been so helpful and nice - I just want to keep chatting with everyone!! It's like a whole other bunch of friends!
