On another note, my DD's school just called and my poor little teensy, DD5 has thrown up! I called my Dh and he is on his way to pick her up and bring her home! As much as I hate that my kids are sick, I am glad that we are getting it out of the way now!

That is an interesting article. I had heard talk of the extra building at Pop, but hadn't heard about suites. That would be cool. I wonder now about the crowds...

Kim- I hope your and your littlest DD will be feeling better soon! My DH had a meeting this morning and then was supposed to go to a class. Well, he came home after his meeting. He is now sleeping upstairs and he bought 2 bottles of ginger ale. He hasn't gotten sick (yet) but is feeling very rundown.

It sure is (we took a look at it yesterday). This rumor has been floating around for a while, but this is the first article with any sorts of "confirmation", i.e. "contracts were signed to begin the clean-up / preparatory phase on this construction project." We'll have to keep our eyes and ears open while we're at POP next week.

I have a question for all the Snow Birds still waiting for their trip to start. Is anyone going nuts waiting for their trip to begin? We have all our packing done, binder ready, snack package sent, etc. But reading the great reports from all of you that have just returned is not making the time go by any faster! I almost wish we weren’t as ready as we are, packing would give me something to take my mind off of the wait. I’m going crazy with anticipation here!!!!!!!!!

Yes, please do keep your eyes and ears open while at POP. I would be interested in Disney offering more family suites!

For me the time went by so quickly up until the kids went back to school last Monday. Since then time has really been dragging on and on and on. . . . . . I can't take it much longer!!!

Time is crawling along way too slowly! We still have 10 days and I haven't started packing yet. I'll probably pack next week on Thursday and Friday. I have NO place to secretly pack, so that's a problem. I think our suitcases may fit under our bed, but I have to check. If I didn't still have packing to do, I would be losing my mind! I don't really have anything left to do except to keep checking the weather forecast. I looked on accuweather.com today. On that site, you can check up to 15 days ahead. The 24th-28th (that's as far as it goes right now) is as follows:

We arrive 1/27, and so far I haven't begun packing, just going over what I am bringing in my head! Looks like I need to pack lots of tanks and light pants. My legs aren't ready for shorts yet, too pale.
The only thing I have done so far is made my haircolor and brow wax appointments before our trip. Must look my best for Mickey!

Time is still moving quickly for me...I still have way too much stuff to do before we go!

Question for you veteran autograph collectors: what is the best kind of pen? I've read to have a "fat" pen so the characters can grip it better with their big hands. But what exactly does that mean? I have a fat Sharpie, one of those that is not round, but it is a chisel tip, which I would think would make autographing more difficult (unless the characters are into calligraphy? ) Would a regular-thickness Sharpie (about as thick as your finger) be OK? Will a Sharpie bleed through the paper? OK, I realize that I'm worrying too much about this. But I figure that if I'm going to go out and buy a pen, I might as well buy the right one. Thanks!

About the AP - 4 dollars! I guess because I am not a FL resident, it would be a little more expensive than that to upgrade.

About time standing still -- I felt like that over the holidays but suddenly realized how much I still need to do - especially in terms of information-gathering....I'm trying NOT to pack all the library's guide books but I might just have to.

Awww that was so sweet...thank you!!!! Well and I did the Florida Seasonal Pass so there are some dates (like Easter, Middle of Summer, and then Christmas that are blocked out) but I'm not going to be travelling then. I have made sure that my next trips correspond with available dates!
