On Friday, I received a Mickey fan program sample from Impressions. My plan all along was that I would make them. I would just have to buy a nice circle cutter, because cutting them imperfectly with scissors would drive me insane However, I am impressed with the sample...and I know a lot of people aren't. All of the text and the design on the front is embossed. Now there is no way I could do that unless I bought tiny little letter stamps and stamped out ALL THE WORDING on the back, which is not worth the time! So I am really just wondering how Impressions does this...I'm sure they have a nice printing press and then use the embossing powders after. So my point is that I might just pay the ridiculous prices they charge and buy from them: FYI, the cost is $27.50 per side flat fee for typesetting one time charge $5.75 per fan $1.85 per bow plus disney licenseing sales tax and delivery I'm gonna email now and find out about the tax and delivery.

Just a small little update about the fans. Bad news. I am told that they do not do embossing on small orders. So what I would be ordering is essentially something I could do myself.
Typset: $55.00Ok, so add a little bit for shipping and delivery, I am assuming this will end up at about $16-17 each. *sigh* That is pretty outrageous. I am debating whether to just throw money at the problem or do it myself. As far as supplies goes, I can wait till I get a coupon and get a circle cutter for around $15 probably. I am assuming the sticks will cost less than $10, and then I need cardstock, but the cost is negligible. I have dry scrapbooking adhesive...that should hold everything together, right? So really it would save a ton of money to just do it myself, I just don't know come May (finals, prom, AP exams, other end of the year stuff) if I will have the energy to make them. We shall see. I'm kind of disappointed because I thought these were worth the cost if there is embossing since that would be very hard/impossible to do yourself. Now that I know I am paying $17 for something printed on a computer... The only advantage really is that I wouldn't have to worry about transporting them and getting them to my WC if I just buy them. Is it worth it? Just wanted to give a little $$$ info for everyone.

Got my wedding band! I'm sure it's a no-no to wear it before it's official, but here it is
![]() DBF got a tungsten band for $50. It's well...I think its going back. For one it's too big. Secondly, it is ridiculously heavy. He says it doesn't bother him, but to me it is just insane. I think it might be better to just put out the money for a gold one.

Transportation
Well, just came to update some useful information other brides might find helpful.
As I've mentioned before, the plan was for everyone to just walk to the International Gateway and be escorted to Morocco from there. For some reason, the forced transportation was never pushed on me. ![]() Anyway, I've been worrying about everyone having to walk after dinner to Epcot. So I inquired about transportation. I decided on 3 towncars, which are $25 each one way. They will drop us backstage. Sure beats the $435 charter bus. Now once the DP ends...people are on their own walking

Lots of last minute stuff
Well, it's a been a while but much has happened since I last posted. The floral is finalized, DFTW charged my credit card. I paid the total credit card balance. Same with hotel. So aside from the dinner, everything is paid for. I am just anxiously awaiting the rewards point to be calculated so I can transfer them to the card. I have a feeling I'm gonna be able to pay for all our food and snacks during the trip with the rewards points
![]() I'll start with the welcome bags. The night before the wedding, our group is going to get pizza and I will hand them out then. I'll make a confession before I go into more trip details: I don't like Disney food So don't expect a lot of juicy ADR info or food porn. We only have 4 ADR's while we are there and its mostly for atmosphere. When DF and I went to Disney last summer we ate at a lot of the popular places, and the food there just does not impress us. Back to the welcome bags! *note: I am currently involved in an art project non-wedding related, so thats why the backgrounds have garbage bags with black paint. ![]() I found these for only $3 at Walmart. I also have blue and green versions. The official Disney ones seem really bulky and a hassle to carry around...not to mention the almost $20 price tag! So I thought these would be a great treat for people when they are dealing with the heat. ![]() ![]() Yes, I know. So cliche. But I could not resist. When I saw the tin's in FigmentFans TR, I knew I could not resist. They are too cute. Then I got a coupon code for the M&Ms. They are in our colors. Since only our immediate family is going, I think everyone will save the tins for sentiment. If not, who cares. The biggest hassle will be transporting them. I'll have to carry all these in my carry-on and hope they don't melt while bell services holds the bags while we wait to check in. ![]() I got purple and pink glow necklaces for everyone. I hope they can wear them during Illuminations or when we are all at Spectromagic later in the week. They were $1 each at the Dollar Store. I got some extras in case they break during the plane ride. I realized afterwords that I'll have to put them in a checked bag since they have liquid on the inside. I really wanted to get Mickey hats for everyone. But at the end of the day, I knew no one would wear them and it just wasn't worth it. I did order the Bride headband and top hat to be delivered to our room the night of the wedding though. Can't wait to wear that! ![]() Ok, so now that the gift bags are out of the way, let's talk about clothes! ![]() ![]() I got these shirts from a seller on Etsy. I was expecting them to look a little more homemade, but they are absolutely fantastic. They are so great, I ordered another one that says "Just married" which is on it's way. The bridesmaid's ones look a little dark in the picture, but the font is purple and so is the tank. My shirt is iridescent fuchsia font with a pink tank. The tanks were only $5 at Meijer. Woo! My sisters and I are going to wear the Bride/bridesmaid ones the night before, and I'm gonna wear the "Just Married" on the Saturday after the wedding. ![]() ![]() Here is the bridesmaid dress. Obviously it looks better on a person. It's iridescent violet. I found a tie that is an exact match which the best man will wear. DH is going to wear a suit with a black tie. We found the suit a couple weeks ago at Macy's and have to go next week to pick it up from alterations. Still no pics of my dress. It was way too big. Way too big. Which I guess is better than too small. You'll all have to wait for the real shots to see what it looks like. During the fittings though, I realized that the top of my dress is detailed with a lot of crystals. The mickey necklace doesn't work. In fact, I think any necklace would be too much. So if I can't wear a necklace, I needed earrings. I had my ears pierced in 7th grade. They closed. I had them double pierced sophomore year of college. They closed. So a little over a month ago, I went to have them pierced again. I've been cleaning them diligently and I hope this time the piercing will stick. Once I decided I needed earrings, I hit up "I do, I do" a bridal boutique in Chicago. The store is literally piled with stuff from the floor to the ceiling, wall to wall. Literally. You cannot browse here. But the owner knows her inventory and you definitely need to go in with a mission. Well I went in wanting to look at the Kirsten Kelly Disney jewelry. I love Belle but didn't like the Belle stuff. I was considering Cinderella earrings, but as luck would have it some jewelry designer was having a trunk show that day and that's when I spotted my earrings: ![]() Finally, I made a welcome letter to put with all the welcome stuff. ![]() ![]() ![]() It may be hard to read, but you'll get the gist. I will save the details of our touring plans for another post. A couple of other changed details. I changed my mind and am going with Patricia LeJeune. Deposit is sent. What can I say, I am fickle. I have also been using Crest Whitestrips. They work. I've also been tanning. I had to chaperone the prom a couple weeks ago, and seeing myself in pictures, I looked like a blob of dough. My paleness doesn't work. Some people can pull it off, I can't. So tanning it is. I'm doing real tanning, not the spray tan, so I will not be orange. I burn before I tan though, so I need a month to get it all ready. Finally, I have been on a horrible horrible diet. I miss food much but I've come too far. I am at my high school weight. I just need to maintain it until June 11 and then it's nonstop eating ![]() Less than a month to go

Isn't waiting the worst!? I think I want school to end as much as the kids do ![]() Oh also, I see that above I posted DF got a tungsten band for $50. Well it was really heavy and ugly I thought. We decided to just pay the money and get a gold band from Zales. It's nothing special, so no pics until the official ones.

I got these necklaces for my sisters. They are the same necklace as mine, except sapphire colored rather than the clear crystal. My mom said I shouldn't have the same jewelry as the bridesmaids, but whatever, I want them to look good too.
![]() And finally just another picture of the glorious shoes My photographer added me as a friend on facebook and saw the picture of the shoes there and said she is really excited about them! I can't wait [/QUOTE]I just started reading your PJ and I love it... can I ask where the shoes and necklaces are from? I love them both... the shoes are so whimsical which is perfect for a Disney wedding. They look reasonably comfy too. As someone who wears a size 9/10 in shoes I think they look adorable on your feet! And the necklaces are a great way to incorporate Mickey in a very classy way. I might get those for my bridesmaids depending on the dresses they end up with! Do you know if there are matching bracelets too? TIA!
