Unfortunately I don't have any dates to share with you... the trip with my friend didn't pan out. But I highly recommend that clinic for your itch!

I just started reading your PTR. What cute kids in their orange and white! Let me know if you have any questions....taking a toddler is an adventure to say the least!

Let's just say that there have been no conversions with the DH yet so this is still in research phase. I don't know if it's a solo thing or not, but I know DH and the kids wouldn't be invited. Mama needs some time for herself, we'll see if I get it.

Oh, don't I know it. So far, DS wants to be Wall E. He wants my mother to be Eve, and it's okay if DH and I are dressed as pirates. And my FIL as well. I'm trying to convince him that Nana can be one of the women that chases us around (you know, in their nightgowns). We have the cap, we'd just need to pack a rolling pin, and she could wear her regular clothes.

My fault... DH's grandmother is turning 90 in October so I'm trying to get him down there to visit his brother and attend his grandmother's 90th birthday party. That's the first weekend in October. (He would go solo because of cost and the kids missing school so early in the year.) My birthday is 9/24 and Zach's birthday is 9/23. So going away at the end of September without the family would just be too difficult. She has a work commitment in early October too. And of course I really want to go back next spring... which brings me back to the February vs. April question. I'd love to go in February, but we usually have more funds by April with tax returns (which will hopefully be better next year) and DH's bonus- if they are still paying them at that point.

We have such a great time when we hang out with DH's brother (Jeff) & family - and the kids adore them all. I'm sure I will be booking a trip as soon as we finish up our August visit with them... we'll be missing them right after they leave. We may do more time with them and a little less at Disney next time though. We probably wouldn't have done 7 days this last trip if it weren't for Buy 4/Get 3. We may do more of a 5 days here and 5 days there thing??

Anyways... the fall trip was just too much... between money & timing. But if we don't do a family trip next spring, she & I will have a very good chance of getting there - maybe January or early March??

You should DEFINITELY steal some time away for yourself.

For the spring trip I'm looking at March 5-8, or some variation. I am putting some serious thought into running the princess 1/2 marathon that weekend. Cost is going to be my primary concern, as I'm hoping to have a full week vacation next fall. (Well that, and if I'm ready to run a 1/2 marathon too). I'll be hoping to stay value, and bring along a friend/roomate to help with costs. I'll have to see when Disney finally gets around to releasing rates for their sports packages, since March is considered full season.

Once I find out what my plans are for the NH trip I will let you know. I'm hoping to drive up myself so that I'll have my own car. The girls are so excited about having all of us up there for a vacation. They are up there now, so I think they are all set with brochures, but thanks. I would really love to get to meet you so if I have my own car we will definitely need to meet up!

Great trip report, found it yesterday and I am now all cought up. Cant wait to hear more. Sorry things have not been going that great for you two, but as your son get bigger you will have a much better time.

I took my son at about 20 months and he had a blast, I could not do everything with him but we had such a good trip anyway. The trip was more for us than anything so we rode everything and just took turns watching him in the play areas of the rides or the gift shops, I thought it may have been a drab doing that but we had sooo much fun and so did he.

As your son gets a little older you will probably have a better trip.
