hi everyone,
another week down, 76 days to go for me! found out a couple of things yesterday that have kinda 'dented' my happy-disney-vacation-bubble .. but i'm sure it'll all work out ok! first ... this trip i am going to wdw with DBF & his family... and we're taking his niece. the family tree is a little confusing, so she's actually a 'step-niece'... so - her dad had to tell her mother that we are taking her to disneyworld in july, so what does the mum do... she books a last minute holiday to Florida for this May!!!! it's so spiteful - i have no idea if she plans to even take the little girl to wdw, they are doing the 'usual' british vacation of staying in an orlando villa for two weeks :P and altho i know our vacation in july will be completely different as we're staying onsite at the YC, and that the little girl's mom can't have any ADRs, BBB, etc, planned (as i have!!).. but i would have just loved to see her face when she saw the castle for the first time, etc and i've told all the CMs at wdw-dine we are celebrating her first trip to wdw, but now it could be her second! oh well... from her point of view, she gets to go to Orlando twice this year!! not bad for a 4.5 year old second... DBF's mum asked me yesterday if it would be ok if we went off site each morning to go get a breakfast somewhere, and then head to the wdw theme parks?!?! to be fair.. she has never been to wdw hotel before, so i don't think she quite 'gets' how different it'll be from staying in Kissimmee like their last vacation to Florida.. but i just don't get it!! they are not even big 'breakfast people'.. i suggested we just get some cereals and have it in our rooms before we head out.. or we get a coffee & a muffin while in the parks, after a couple of rides! aaaahhhh!!! must remember, no matter what.. be patient... i'm going to disney world! We're getting in on the 23rd late. I think it's wrong on the other page since I didn't have any one change it. I wish I was special enough to get in early but atlas I'm just a regular person.

I was so disappointed last Friday when my TA told me he was calling in my ADR's. I really did think I was special and then to find out he was a week off!!

![]() It sounds like she will have a WAY better time with you, anyway! ![]() As far as the "going offsite for breakfast" problem, I wouldn't worry about it now. Wait until you get there and she might see that it's not necessary. Does YC have a food court or counter service place that she can run down to in the morning to get some breakfast? It will all work out!

lol.. yup i was straight on wdw info today, reseaching all the breakfast options!! there are loads around Crescent Lake.. Boarwalk Bakery & also the Ale & Compass Lounge in the YC is open from 6am with pastries, cereals, fruit etc
... sure we'll be fine!I was pretty down about the situation with DBF's niece last night.. but then this morning at the gym I listened to 'celebrate you' and then 'wishes' .. and i just got soo happy again & remembered that wdw is magical, no matter what! Barbie
