I'm right here with you guys. School has been out here for almost two full weeks, sounds great huh? NOT! My ds has started baseball, at least 4 games per week. He starts football camp on Monday and has to be there at 9am through Thurs. and my dh was kind enough to schedule the kids next orthodontist appt. for next Friday at 8:45am!! My father-in-law has decided to come for a visit, which is great, but he will arriving two weeks before our vacation and leaving 5 days before we are to leave. Of course I have a teeth cleaning scheduled for the kids and one last orthodontist appt. scheduled 3 days before we leave...and somebody has to pack!!! Do you ever ask yourself if all the stress preparing is really worth it??

Yes, each year I ask if it is worth all we do - Saving all that money by going without all year long and in the end the answer is a resounding -

Now the wonderous countdown ticker that made me excited is stressing me out! I am so indecisive about stuff, I just need to make decisions and GO WITH IT! My current list of stuff to make decisions about:

1. how to id my kids. Not so much worried about the 9 year old as the 2 year old. Thought about those silicone bracelets, and letting them wear on ankles, since they will be wearing crocs?

2. To ship a box or not? I have a big box of "stuff" deemed necessary by my DIS friends... When do I ship it? How do I get it home if the car is packed full?

3. To order something from the florist? I have lanyards, autograph books, trinkets from Dollar store that I thought about adding to the box of stuff in Mickey gift bags and not ordering anything else!

All these need to be decided now so I can get it done!!!

Try planning a two-week disneymoon AND a wedding at the same time!!! I know as soon as school gets out, I'm going to be a madwoman! I've been trying to put everything off, I keep saying, "I'll worry about it when school gets out." I know it's all going to hit me at once.

Once I'm on that plane.......

You may not need everything that we on the DIS have said. Look at your family and the items you feel you will most likely use and take those. You will be at the world and able (at a cost) to get most other items. I have never needed to send a box ahead so can't help you with the time frame. With the extra luggage fees it may be cheaper to ship it ahead. If driving I don't think I would mess with it. If it would't fit in the car we wouldn't need it but that is just me. I am sure someone can answer your question.

I have never taken a 2 year old but I would guess if a lanyard would remain on that could be a way of IDing them if they go away. Gotten like if I am found please return me to:

WDW seems to send papers sooner. You will be gitting your from DCL and they send them about 21 day from the strat of your vacation. You will get two sets of luggage tags one for your stay at WDW and one for your cruise.

As much as I am looking forward to our July vacation, it will be nearing the end of summer too. DD starts band camp a 10 days after we get back.

I know -- it's crazy here, too. School ended Friday for us, soccer season ended last weekend (DD10 plays on a travel team), DD10 has a summer enrichment program June 8-19 (8-12 every day), DD14 is getting her wisdom teeth pulled next week, I have a medical procedure next week, DD14 goes to church youth conference out of town from June 29-July 3, then DD14 goes to church girls camp from July 6-10, then we go to WDW on July 17. My DH still thinks he can squeeze in a "quick" trip up to Massachusetts this summer with the girls to visit my sister and her family, and we just found out this weekend that my SIL is getting a divorce so DH and my girls want to fly SIL's two DDs (same ages as my DDs) out here to visit. Ummm, when????

And I work full-time and have church commitments, so it's rather crazy right now.

Yikes! I've got so much to do to get ready for our trip!

Remember when we were kids and summer was just for playing? Wow, I wish it was like that for me now! That's why I love WDW -- I get to be a kid again!

Need ideas, please.....

One of DD10's birthday gifts (her birthday was last month) was an appointment at the BBB while were on our trip. She is SO excited!

Well, last night, DD14 asked if there was something special she could do while we are at WDW (her birthday is in August, so it would be an early birthday gift). She asked if there are any spas at WDW and I told her there were, but I don't know about prices, what services they offer, etc. She doesn't want to do BBB. Does anyone have any info on the spas? Or any other ideas of something special I could schedule with her? I'm looking at spending about $60 on this. We have a couple of non-park days scheduled so we could do something then (July 22 and July 26).

Help! I need ideas -- I'm worried that it's too late to book anything.
